When Marine Sgt. Shane Webb was deployed to Iraq in 2003, he knew that he would be receiving a gift from someone special. His unit received a shipment of donated Marines' gear and uniforms, and Shane couldn't have been more grateful. ever since he first received them, the Marines in his unit have been a part of his life - they've helped him learn how to live as an American warrior and be a responsible member of society. One of Shane's favorite things about being a Marine is the chance to help others during their time of need. He has always believed that it's important to give back to society - through giving back to the Marines who have given their lives for our country, and also through helping others in need. Since becoming a Marine himself, Shane has traveled all over the United States aiding local charities and causes - from providing manpower for disaster relief operations in Houston during Hurricane Harvey, to working with Operation Smile on behalf of children with cancer worldwide. He knows that when marines are deployed, there's no place like home where they can come together and share some common values and experiences together

Pleasant Grove is a small town located in Montgomery County, Alabama, United States. The population was 5,564 at the 2000 census. It is the county seat of Montgomery County. Pleasant Grove is part of the Birmingham–Hoover Metropolitan Statistical Area. The town was founded in 1881 by businessmen and farmers who moved from rural Butler County to take advantage of new transportation and trade opportunities opened up by the American Civil War. The first store was built on what is now Railroad Street. In 1915, Pleasant Grove incorporated as a village and began to build its own schools and fire hydrants. In 1950, when Montgomery County became a state government entity, Pleasant Grove became its county seat and continued to grow as a center for commerce and cultural activities. A shopping mall was built in 1984 that retains much of its original architecture including an old post office building which still serves as the town's municipal library. Today, Pleasant Grove remains an important community with strong cultural ties to its rural roots while expanding into new directions such as hosting events at nearby Hillsboro Airport; growing crops on two thousand acres (1 km2) of land near downtown; and developing several businesses within reach of residents through online sales or direct marketing campaigns
