PCCFC continued to produce high-quality coffees until 1971 when it merged with two other major American companies – Keurig Green Mountain Incorporated (KGC) and World War II veteran Dutch Schultz's AmerisourceBerlin AG – creating AmerisourceBerlin Corp.(AIB). AIB continued to produce great tasting fresh roasted coffee until 1996 when it merged with Dutch Bros.' American Coffee Corporation (AOC) forming Cafeteria Holding Co., Inc.(CHCI). Cafeteria Holding Co., Inc.(CHCI) continued to produce excellent tasting fresh roasted coffee until 2006 when it went bankrupt due to financial problems. Today, there are many different types of roasters who offer canned or processed versions of authentic Maumelle bean coffees. Maumelle is a small town in Pulaski County, Arkansas, United States. The population was 1,836 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Little Rock–North Little Rock–Bentonville metropolitan area. The first European to visit what is now Maumelle was French Captain André Le Moyne in 1765 during his expedition across North America. He named the site "Manche" after his mother's home country of Normandy, France. The first post office in what is now Maumelle was established on July 24, 1872, by J. H. Tillinghast and wife Lillie Flanders with the name of their daughter Annie Maynard Tillinghast Post Office In 1912, Infant Jesus Catholic School opened as a girls' school under the name "Dorothy Day". In 1933 it became known as "St Joseph's" and finally "Maumelle Catholic High School". For many years it functioned as one of two primary schools for students in Pulaski County; other schools were Union Elementary School and Central High School which were both located about 10 miles (16 km) south of Maumelle. In 1955 it became an all-girls high school when St Joseph's became annexe to Central High School. On October 7th 1903 Governor Alfred Gorgas signed into law a bill creating Pulaski County and directing its Superintendent to provide education for every inhabitant upon organization and until such time that there should be no diminution or loss in population or value thereof due to any cause whatever; this act provided for free public instruction for white children between the ages of five years old and sixteen years old inclusive; this gave rise to much discussion among parents over who should teach their children at home or send them to school... On December 6th 1903 Mrs XXXXXX moved from her residence on State Street just north of present day Hickory Avenue eastward along Hickory Avenue past present day Old Main Road towards Old Main Road intersection where she purchased from Wm Atherton a lot extending along said road from one side thereof northerly unto Springdale Cemetery lot line thence easterly thereto joining said cemetery lots together forming an annexation parcel with said house on Springdale Avenue... Mrs XXXXXX erected thereon her own dwelling called “Hickory avenue” Thereafter each family purchase& erection by themselves houses within their respective annexed parcels so that by 1949 there were more than 100 dwellings within our boundaries! By 1951 only 26 dwellings remained! But even then we had more inhabitants living outside than inside our boundaries! That same year West Pulaski Community Schoolsopened which combined with Central High Schooldesignaled an end to separate boys & girls education within our limits! Consequently classes met in homes thruout our Township until 1966 when we added East Pulaski Community Schools hereto providing continuing educational opportunities for all students regardless of social background! According to USGS data compiled in 2006, Maumelle has experienced significant growth since its peak population numbering 2,397 people according to state censuses taken from 1880-1990 (1% increase). This growth can be attributed primarily to immigration: according as 1990 Census data shows that 8 out of 11 residents (86%) foreign born individuals lived here before becoming naturalized citizens; however since 2000 these percentages have decreased significantly (-26%). However change does not stop there: recent studies have shown that nearly 60% (of current residents) are still foreign born citizens who arrived legally through lawful channels including green card filings or temporary visas granted after being approved for permanent residency status by U.S Citizenship & Immigration Services Today's Maumelle community began developing shortly after cotton farmers migrated here during the early 1800s looking for new land amid increasing demand from slave owners in territory acquired via war against Mexico City . At first they cleared land using hand tools while also cultivating crops like corn and beans ; however soon enough machines came along making cotton production much easier and faster yielding higher profits leading some farmers into machinery ownership & use while others continued clearing land but augmenting crop yields thru irrigation systems
