It quickly became known for its quality coffee and unique atmosphere. In 1997, Tactical Coffee moved to its current location in Camden Yards. By 2000, most Italians had adopted this type of brewing as their preferred way to enjoy their morning cup of Joe.

Cambridge, Maryland is a town in Prince George's County, Maryland, United States. The population was 5,865 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Prince George's County. Cambridge is one of the oldest towns in Prince George's County and home to many notable historical landmarks such as Princeton University and Mount Washington Resort. The town was founded by Puritan settlers in 1764 as part of what was then known as Carleton County. In 1848, when Prince George's County was created from parts of Maryland and Virginia, Cambridge became its capital. The first settler in Cambridge was John Smith who came there with his family in July 1764 from Huntingdon Township, Pennsylvania. He started a small cabin on the north side of present-day Mount Washington Road which he named "Mount Pleasant." After a year or so Smith moved to what is now called 'Oldtown' on Main Street where he built a large house called "New England" for himself and his family. New England also served as the original courthouse for Prince George's County (now Arlington) until 1824 when it moved to nearby Takoma Park. In 1775, during the American Revolutionary War, two companies of British troops under General Edward Braddock attacked and burned Cambridge while Allied forces were besieging Fort Frederick near Williamsburg: many homes were destroyed or badly damaged and much valuable property taken including nearly all of Smiths Market Place which lay within 300 feet of the burning buildings; this event has been cited by historians as one of the most significant moments in early Cambridgeshire history
