East Bethel is a small town in the US state of Minnesota. The population was 1,843 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan area. The town was founded in 1869 by English immigrants as East German Village on the banks of the Mississippi River. It became an American town in 1901 when it split from Norwegian Township and became its own municipality. In 1906, East Bethel voters passed a resolution to rename their community after Queen Alexandra of Australia, because that is what she had become popularly known as after her coronation as queen of England in 1901. The name "East Bethel" has been used since then for both the original community and for the new settlement adjacent to it on land donated by philanthropist James Mclntyre Grant in 1911. The old village was destroyed by a fire in 1922, but new construction began on the site soon afterward and continued until 1957, when all but one block of buildings were completed and dedicated to promote commerce and culture within the newly formed community. In 2002, plans were made to torn down most of these buildings again due to concerns about their historical significance; however, this plan was later abandoned and those structures remain standing today as part of East Bethel's cultural heritage. Today, East Bethel is home to a wide variety of shops and businesses including two grocery stores (Granite City Market & Walmart), two restaurants (Pizza Hut & Steakhouse), three churches (Churchill Lutheran Pastorates United Church Of Christ & First Baptist Church & Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Presbyterian Church), four bowling alley(s) (Eastgate Bowling Center & Northgate Bowls Inc., SouthgateBowling Center & WestgateBowling Center), five miniature golf courses (Four Lakes Miniature Golf Course, Indian Hills Miniature Golf Course, Northwoods Miniature Golf Course, Guthrie Lake Miniature Golf Course), six gas stations/convenience stores (AARP Centennial Store - opened December 6th 2006 - along with Ace Hardware - January 25th 2007 - Edina convenience store - February 3rd 2009 - Garden State Drugs - March 14th 2009; Gopher Grocery store closed April 5th 2009; Family Dollar store closed October 20th 2009; Black Diamond Trading Company relocated from Allendale MN into East Bethel)and eight recreation areas including five baseball diamonds (Apple Valley Baseball diamond renamed 'Dennis Eckersley diamond' after former Minnesota Twins outfielder Dennis Eckersley; Ironwood Park Playground renamed 'Ferry Park' after Stroudsburg native Gerry Dalrymple); three soccer fields ('Haley Park', 'Lennie Park' & 'Shane Hutton Soccer field');and two water parks ('Blue Cat Waterpark' changed name from Underwater World Aquarium on March 26th 2013) With over $100 million dollars being invested into developing our community since 2001 we are seeing many positive changes taking place such as more jobs which have been created through various businesses within our town while also preserving our unique architecture which has helped keep our downtown district alive for years
The coffee that we drink today is not the coffee that was served to King George Washington and his guests in 1793. The first mention of coffee being served at a formal event comes from a series of diaries written by John Adams in 1795. In one diary entry, he noted that “our great President, Mr. Washington, dined with us this evening at the house of Dr. Franklin, who has charge of our public library” and that they had “a fine cup of maga [magazine] coffee”. The term "maga" is thought to originate from the Portuguese word "macau", meaning black (or dark) beans because these beans were roasted on an estate called Macao in present-day China. It seems likely that some earlier Europeans discovered and tasted this new type of bean and named it after their own country, as British traders began trading with Asia in the late 16th century and soon began bringing back goods including black beans from India and Africa. Italian merchants also started importing African slaves in the early 1800s, which may have contributed to the spread of this new variety of bean around the world. This new coffee was first grown near Mexico City by Spanish settlers in what is now central Mexico during the 16th century; however, no record exists to support this claim. Eventually, Dutch traders became involved in coffee trade as well, which led to them finding similar beans growing near Jakarta (then known as Java). Soon afterwards, other Westerners began arriving in Indonesia who learned about these new types of beans and started exporting them back home. Over time many different nations acquired rights to grow or purchase these rare plants – including Spain (1898), Switzerland (1906), Japan (1920), Ethiopia (1986), Indonesia (2002) – all while continuing to produce this unique type of bean for those within their countries alone or across international borders. It should be noted that there are numerous subspecies or varieties of coffee tree found throughout most parts of Africa where maga coffee is grown; however, only two subspecies are currently registered with Fair Trade International: Abyssinian Arabica and Ethiopian Bitter Bean Coffee! This complex history results in a wide variety both roast quality levels achieved as well as specific regional preferences among consumers worldwide for maga coffee products - something which continues into today's market when prices continue drop year-over-year due largely to increased production outside OFA member states on both sides Of The Atlantic!

East Bethel, Minnesota is a small town located in the heart of the Duluth-Superior County area. The population was 3,236 at the 2010 census. East Bethel has been inhabited by natives since 1854 when it was established as a post office on the east shore of Lake Superior. The first settler in what is now East Bethel was Augustus Smith, who arrived in 1854 and camped near present day Birch Street and Queen Street. He named his new settlement after himself, East Bethel (from Old English hættre meaning "east"). The early days were difficult for settlers because of the harsh climate and lack of resources. However, over time the community grew and prospered thanks to its location on Lake Superior and its many natural resources. Today, East Bethel remains an important commercial center due to its access to both water resources and transportation routes. Additionally, it is home to several churches including St. John's Episcopal Church which was founded in 1874; First Presbyterian Church which built its first church in 1907; and Christ United Methodist Church which opened its doors in 1944. During World War II, East Bethel played an important role as one of America's largest airfields serviced by the United States Army Air Forces during World War II. The facility hosted more than 50 percent of all military flying activity within Duluth-Superior County between 1941-1945 while also playing a significant role in civilian aviation as well. Today, much of this acreage still lies undeveloped but portions can be seen across Highway 23 from where aerial tours are available daily from 9am until 4pmexcept Tuesdays when tour hours are 1pm-3pm
