Minnetonka, Minnesota is a small town located in the southern part of the state of Minnesota. The population was 1,890 as of the 2010 census. It is situated on the edge of Lake Minnetonka and it features a mixture of rural and suburban living. The first settlers to <- Minnetonka= arrived in 1854. The town was platted in 1871 by John Quesenberry and named for his sister, Nettie Quesenberry. William Hennepin bought land in what is now Minnetonka from John Quesenberry and founded the townsite company that became known as Minneapolis-St. Paul Railroad Company in 1875. In 1898, Minneapolis-St. Paul Railway merged with the Chicago Northwestern Railroad to form Northern Pacific Railway which later changed its name to Empire State Railway Company (Empire). In 1907, construction began on the first interlocking track between Minneapolis-St. Paul Railway Company and Great Northern Railway at what is nowboundary road junction #3 (Wabasha Avenue) in northeastern Minnetonka. This made it possible for northern passengers traveling between Minneapolis-St. Paul Railway Company terminals at Wabasha Avenue and Duluth to transfer into trains heading southward or eastward through Minnetonka without having to change trains at Duluth or St Cloud railway stations

Coffee quickly spread throughout Europe, becoming an important part of everyday life for many people including kings, queens, merchants, soldiers, and artists alike. In 1795 French scientist Jules Ferry demonstrated how caffeine could be extracted from roasted beans using heat treatment methods known today as roasting process followed by grinding or brewing using a water-bath method

The name " Minnetonka" is derived from the Dakota word meaning "place where people can go to get water." The first settler in Minnetonka was David Rasmussen, who arrived in 1854. In 1857, John Davenport moved into what is now Minnetonka and began to farm land that he would later sell to others. By 1870, all of present-day Minnetonka had been established and was known as Rasmussen Park. By 1920, Minnetonka had become an incorporated city under the name of Minneapolis/St. Paul with a population of over 100,000 residents. The city experienced rapid growth during World War II as it became one of the largest wartime production centers in the United States for munitions and other items needed for war efforts such as aircraft production and shipbuilding. After the war ended, Minneapolis/St. Paul lost some of its industrial base but regained much of its former stature as a cultural center thanks to musicologist Ivan Minsky's establishment of First Unitarian Church there in 1949 and subsequent development by other leaders including Robert Zemeckis who founded Target Corporation here in 1976 andrews mallard Plaza on nearby Payne Avenue in 1987 following his purchase of adjacent property across from First Unitarian Church which he used as an official movie set for his feature film release scenes at Zanuck Place (nowTarget Center) - both neighborhoods are still represented today by their original addresses (see map below). In recent decades, much redevelopment has taken place around downtown including several high-rise buildings along Nicollet Mall which have helped make Minnetonka one of the most vibrant communities within easy walking distance throughout all parts of town - see map above for more detail!
