Belton, Missouri is a small town located in the western United States. The population was 3,000 as of 2010 and it is the county seat for Ford County. The city was founded in 1881 by Swiss immigrants and has since grown to be a regional center for coffee production. Belton began producing coffee beans in 1881 and has been manufacturing coffee products ever since. In 1909, the company became one of the first to export coffee to Europe. Today, Belton produces over seventy different types of coffee products and employs over 350 people.

Belton coffee has been roasted and ground in the town since the early 1800s. The first coffee beans were purchased by George Kapp in 1828, and the first shop opened in 1830. By 1875, Belton had a three-shift roastery and two cafes.
Belton is a small town in Pettis County, Missouri, United States. The population was 1,521 at the 2010 census. It is part of the St. Louis metropolitan area. According to the K-12 school system website, Belton has a high school and three middle schools. The only post-secondary education available in Belton is from Community College of Northern Illinois which offers certificates and associate degrees. Belton was founded in 1871 by George Mays and his family. The name "Belton" was given to the community by General John Pemberton when he visited Belton Township during the Battle of Pea Ridge two years earlier. At that time, Pemberton called the township "Maysville." In 1881, Edwin Capps replaced Mays as headman of Belton Township. He developed a cotton gin on what is now West Main Street in present day Belmont Township and named it Capps' Gin after himself and his father-in-law Edwin Bicknell (1810-1877). In 1902, Jno Witherspoon became headman of BelTON Township after serving as acting headman for two weeks following the death of Edwin Capps. Witherspoon developed a grocery store on Old Union Road nearpresent day Washington Avenue in present day Belleville Township before becoming headman again in 1906 In 1907, an act was passed entitled "An Act to Establish Normal Schools within this Territory" providing for six normal schools located throughout Pettis County under one roof with financial support from state legislatures across America as part of local educational reform efforts facilitated by President Theodore Roosevelt's New National Education Policy initiative known as "The Great School Project." This act also created the first Normal School Board which approved allNormal School applications including those from BELTON TOWNSHIP which had applied but were not accepted due to their distance from other communities within Pettis County; these original BELTON TOWNSHIPNormal School applicants would later become Belleville Township residents A new courthouse was built at 3018 Old Union Road between 1912 and 1915 using funds provided by then Governor John Altgeld through his New National Education Policy initiative known as The Great State Purchase Program - this building would be renamed East Central University Park following its donation by East Central University in 2006 In 1948, following enactment of Public Law 249 which amended Section 8(a) of The Kansas Constitution providing for bilingual education statewide among Native American children enrolled in public schools within Kansas City metropolitan area; four hardwood floors were added inside old Courthouse Annex located on Third Street NW between Graham Ave & Irving Rd NE corner lot once occupied by Bellefontaine Schools (now Midwestern Christian High School) It should be noted that even though BELTON had applied for bilingual education statewide under prior law - they were not accepted due to their distance from other communities within Pettis County; these original BELTON TOWNSHIPNormal School applicants would later become Belleville Township residents despite never having attended a NORMAL SCHOOL Belmont experiences severe droughts every year during late summer or early fall due to heavy rains events that often coincide with agricultural production season around here especially Wheat Belt where monsoons happen about every 6 months or so; wheat belt farmers have been struggling economically ever since belt wide drought hit about 3 years ago back then too

Belton, Missouri, is a small town in southern Missouri on the banks of the Arkansas River. It was founded in 1839 by Nicholas Belton and his wife Hannah. The town was named for Belton's father, who had died in 1824. The first store in Belton opened in 1840. By 1850, there were five stores and twenty-five residents. In 1861, the Union Army passed through Belton on its way to Gettysburg and burned all of the businesses except one, which reopened four days later. During the American Civil War (1861-1865), most ofBelton supported Confederate forces; however, some people did support Union troops. In 1865, when Union troops captured Bellefontaine Cemetery near town, they burned all of the graves there as well as 150 other cemeteries throughout Arkansas County. Belton experienced several economic setbacks during World War II (1941-1945). After the war ended, many residents left for various reasons. However, many others decided to stay and rebuild following a boom phase in 1946-1950 that coincided with rapid population growth across much of southcentral Kansas City Area because of strong job opportunities associated with post-war reconstruction initiatives nationwide. The postwar boom led to an increase in joblessness and poverty among BelTONians; nevertheless, many people persevered until their communities could once again become vibrant community places where families enjoyed walks along riverbanks or played catch inside local schools during wintertime before cooking dinner outdoors under open fires at night while watching stars over open fields behind their homes - typical summer activities enjoyed by everyone hereabouts!
Belton was founded in 1836 by a group of Mormons who arrived in the area from Illinois. The town was named for Brigham Young, who had been appointed as the leader of the Mormon movement in Missouri. Belton quickly became a thriving community, and its location made it an ideal spot for grazing cattle and farming. In addition to its role as a stopping point on the Underground Railroad, Belton also served as a center for religious education and social services. By 1860, Belton had grown sufficiently large to ordain its own priests and nuns, and it began to attract Methodists and Baptists as well. In 1868, Belton became the county seat of St. Francois County, superseding nearby Vandalia. By 1870, however, the population of Belton had peaked at around 10,000 residents; by 1880 it had declined to 6500 residents. However, during this time periodBelton experienced some significant growth in industry: early settlers established a sawmill and gristmill while also starting up businesses such as flour milling and cattle ranching. In 1907, when local officials decided that they would no longer be able to support the town's rapid growth without annexing adjacent counties (St Francois County became Jefferson County), BelTON abruptly disbanded its schools and shops late that night with only one night's notice; all citizens were required to leave their homes within 24 hours or face seizure of property rights by local authorities
