He also built a stagecoach stop at what is now Missoula on this road which became one of America's earliest tourist destinations while providing transportation between these locations for travelers exploring these new territories created during the American Civil War The first post office in what is now Billings was established on November 24th, 1863 under the name "Aurora". On January 1st 1870, it was moved from Aurora to Lewiston due to increasing mail volume through routes opened by postal service into those new territories created during the American Civil War On October 15th 1890 John Wesley Powell made his famous climb up Katahdin Hill thereby becoming one of history's most famous explorers when he reached an altitude above timberline that had not been reached before or since!
