The Palisades Park Coffee Roasters was opened in the early 1970s and has been roasting high quality coffee ever since. The coffee is sourced from area farmers and roasted in a small, family-owned business. The beans are hand-picked, fermented, and then matured in oak barrels. In addition to their own blends and single origins, the Palisades Park Coffee Roasters also sells its own espresso drinks, iced coffees, soups, salads, pastas, and baked goods. They have a wide variety of flavors that can be enjoyed by all types of people.

The Palisades Park Coffee Company was founded in 1912 by the Late Mr. and Mrs. Julius Kapp and their son, Lester Kapp. The company was originally located on Ridgewood Avenue in Paramus, but moved to its current location on North Road in 1916. In 1922, the company opened a roast house off of Route 9 near Ridgefield Park. In 1951, the company became part of Steepleton Coffee Corporation and changed its name to Palisades Park Coffee Company Ltd. In 1970, Palisades Park Coffee Company Ltd., along with Steepleton Coffee Corporation and other companies within Steepleton Coffee Corporation were acquired by Peet's coffee corporation for $1 million. The acquisition increased Peet's ownership of coffee businesses throughout New Jersey from 16% to 50%. In 1975-1976, Palisades Park Coffee Company Ltd., along withSteepleton Coffee Corporation, merged with Dutch Bros./Dutch Bros./Palisade Farms & Sales Co., Incorporated (a Delaware limited liability company) to form Dutch Bros/New Jersey coffee cooperative Incorporated (DNBco). At this time, DNBco became the largest coffee cooperative in New Jersey with over 1,000 employees who grew more than 20 different types of beans from high quality Arabica beans sourced from around the world. This merger allowed for continued growth as both Dutch Bros./New Jersey coffee cooperative Incorporated (DNBco) and Dutch Bros/Palisade Farms & Sales Co., Inc.(DPF&S) purchased additional businesses throughout New Jersey which helped create a statewide network of roasters that continues today to serve customers all across Newark – including at our new headquarters building on Broad Street in downtown Newark!
The Palisades Park neighborhood in New Jersey was developed in the 1920s as a streetcar suburb. The area now includes a number of small villages and hamlets, including Palisades Village, which is home to the palisades museum. The neighborhood was originally known for its woodlands and rolling hills, but more recently it has become known for its large mansions and luxury homes. The communitysenders include former presidents George Washington Carver and Grover Cleveland; billionaires Rupert Murdoch and Charles Schwab; and actresses Deborah Kerr, Natalie Wood, Mia Farrow, Jane Wyman, Gloria Swanson, Katharine Hepburn, Winona Ryder and Scarlett Johansson. In addition to its well-preserved architecture and rich history, Palisades Park also features many examples of early 20th century housing developments such as the Howard House (1921), the Holyoke House (1925), the Robinson House (1927) and the Beaumont House (1929). In recent years there have been efforts to make Palisades Park more diverse by adding new housing units that are accessible to people with different backgrounds or incomes. These initiatives have included Neighborhood Parks located near various schools in the area that offer residents access to nature trails or playgrounds as well as movie theaters or restaurants.

In fact, it is said that coffee was first roasted and brewed in the Middle East. The early Arab traders brought some of the world’s first espresso machines to Europe in the 12th century. Coffee became popular in Italy during the 15th century because of its unique flavor profile. The Dutch were alsoavid to Crosstown Trading Company coffee, which they found more flavorful than other types of beans being traded at the time. Coffee beans started to be traded throughout Africa in the 18th century as well. This was due to King George III of England trying to find a new source for his favorite drink after discovering imported French press coffees were disappointing. The British discovery of Java (now Indonesia) led to increased interest in coffee beans throughout much of Asia and Africa, including India and China where tea was still dominant at this point. As coffee began becoming more popular around the world, it started appearing on menus as a choice for luxury items such as Sommelier’s Choice wines or champagne - both European and Asian wine styles preferred over traditional white wine when drinking coffee. Coffee soon became an important ingredient in many internationally renowned cafes such as Café Napoleon, Ritz Carlton Hotel & Casino near Las Vegas NV, Jardin des Plantes ( Paris), Maxim’s Moscow Ballroom, Tokyo Dome etc.. It wasn’t until about 1960 that ground whole beans became available commercially outside of North America – making it easier for people all over the world to enjoy this entire process from start to finish!

Some of these include: -The first coffee was brewed in a small pot on an auction block in Ethiopia in 1951. -In 1976, John Deere created the world's first commercial ground coffee. -The Dutch brewing company Achterhoek started making coffee from beans brought over by the Portuguese in the 15th century. -Coffee began to be traded as a commodity in Africa and Asia around 1000 B.C.

Over time, many other neighborhoodsve been added to this area including River Edge, Windsor Terrace and finally North Caldwell where today’s headquarters are located. Today, there are over 1,000 families living in Palisade Park which makes it one of the most densely populated areas in Bergen County. With so many people living close together there is always something going on - from nature walks through concerts at local venues all the way up to special events hosted by local organizations like PALISADE PARK COMMUNITY FESTIVAL or NEW JERSEY OPEN HOUSE!
