Coffee beans were first grown near the town limits, but by 1830, the beans had been transported to Woodbury from all over New Jersey. The first major roasting operation was undertaken by Nicholas Appel in 1846. At that time, coffee was processed using manual methods and not yet automated. Over time, automation became more prevalent and began to improve the quality of fresh roasted coffee. In 1957, Bob Kopp began his own roasting operation which has continued to operate today. Today, Bob Kopp’s Coffee operates one of the largest fresh roasted coffee operations in New Jersey. The history of fresh-roasted coffee goes back to at least 1795 when a small farming community called Woodbury was founded on Staten Island by Dutch colonists based in New York City. The first known espresso machine was built here in 1819 by Antonio Caruso who named it after himself – Antonio Edoardo Caruso espresso machines were later imported into America and are now considered historical landmarks within their own right (see full article). In 1830, Nicholas Appel - an Italian immigrant who had come to America as a young man - started roasting beans on his family's farm near present day Woodbury Boulevard/Route 20A – this early version of automated roast oven still stands today! By 1957, Bob Kopp had opened his own roasting business & began making high-quality coffees under his name with help from some old friends (including previous owner & head honcho Nick Appel). Bob Kopp's has continued unchanged since then & remains one of NJ's most iconic (& successful) cafes!

Woodbury is a town in Sussex County, New Jersey, United States. The population was 3,711 at the 2010 census. Woodbury is part of the Newark-Union metropolitan area. The first Europeans to arrive in what is now Woodbury were Dutch settlers who arrived in 1638 and 1639. The first British immigrants arrived in 1714 and settled here along the Delaware River. In 1814, when Morrisania was created from portions of Sussex and Monmouth counties, Woodbury became part of that township; it remained so until 1863, when it was merged into Union Township. In 1824, James Ketchum founded a gristmill on the western border of present-day Woodbury. Ketchum's mill continued to be operated until around 1870; during that time it produced flour for local markets as well as for export to Philadelphia and New York City. As early as 1792 there were six houses in what is now Woodbury Township; by 1800 there were thirty-six dwellings therein including three taverns (the first being built by Nicholas Gass). A chapel was erected here in 1822 by Revd John Whitehead under the direction of Revd Richard Salvin who also served as pastor of nearby Allentown Presbyterian Church: this building still stands today and forms one side of Main Street within the limits of Woodbury Township. In 1844 James Ketchum donated two acres (0.8 km²) adjacent to his mill pond for use as a public square; this square has since been renamed Freedom Square after freedom movements throughout history such as those fought for by America during the Revolutionary War and slavery’s abolition following Reconstruction times through legal challenges led by Abraham Lincoln’s successor Franklin Dwayne Roosevelt.). In 1865 Union Township merged with surrounding Sussex County creating an even larger municipality which included all or part of many townships within its boundaries including neighboring Livingston Parish whereupon much development took place which includes numerous factories located near Princeton Junction Railroad Station on Lebanon Road just east of East Orange Avenue - these days known as “Old Princeton Junction” - making it one stop on NJ Transit's Trenton Line giving access to points further inland including Paterson Airport and Newark Liberty International Airport respectively). In recent years some homes have been torn down while others have been renovated/renowned largely due to their location within easy walking distance either from shopping malls or other large employment centers close by eases access onto expressways Interstate 95/I-95W or I-280 both major corridors connecting New York City with Philadelphia etc., making life easier commuting away from home but maintaining rural character quite typical among most Americans today living outside urban areas etc., finally helping maintain some small businesses providing goods and services necessary for everyday living without need for commercial buildings altogether - something not easily found elsewhere even within larger municipalities such as those located near large metropolitan areas outside peak tourist season etc.; final touch adding that many residents continue farming their properties day-to-day providing fresh produce & eggs year round!
The town of Woodbury was incorporated as a borough in 1892. The borough was dissolved in 1896 and its assets were divided among the towns of North Brunswick, Gloucester Township, Camden County, and Burlington County.
