By 1875, he had constructed a large processing plant that allowed him to produce over 1,000 pounds of quality coffee per day! It is the county seat of Henderson County and home to the Hendersonville Fairgrounds, which are also known as "The World's Largest Agricultural Fair." Hendersonville was platted in 1837 by John A. Henderson and named for him. The present day town was founded on April 12, 1887, when the railroad arrived in what is now Henderson County. At its peak during the early 1800s, Hendersonville had a population of 10,000 people. Today it has a population of 2,500 people and occupies just over one acre of land. The first settlers in what is now Hendersonville were United States Army soldiers who came through the area during the American Civil War. They built cabins near present day downtown and started trading with local farmers until they could build their own homes. By 1868, there were over 50 businesses in town including three cotton warehouses as well as a sawmill and grist mill. In 1875, Samuel Jernigan donated two acres of land to be used as an agricultural fair site which became known as "The World's Largest Agricultural Fair." Many famous celebrities such as presidents Franklin D Roosevelt and Woodrow Wilson visited this fair over the years including Ulysses S Grant and Abraham Lincoln! Today, The World's Largest Agriculturalfair takes place every year at The fairgrounds from April 12-14th providing an opportunity for locals and visitors from all around America to get up close and personal with some of agriculture’s top experts while enjoying world-renowned cuisine from all over! There are more than 350 exhibitors representing more than 70 different disciplines both indoors and outdoors! This year’s event features more than 20 exhibitors from China along with demonstrations by top agricultural experts!

Throughout these years, many innovations have been made to improve the quality of fresh roasted coffee including water temperature control, automatic grinding/filtering systems, airtight packaging techniques, and even flavored syrups/milks which can be enjoyed alongside brewed coffee
