Huber Heights is a small town in theuy of Medina County, Ohio, United States. The population was 1,821 at the 2010 census. It lies on the east side of the Cuyahoga River and is bordered to the north by Maycomb Township, to the south by Findlay Township, and to the west by North Olmsted Township. The first settler in Huber Heights was John Huber who arrived in 1814. He started a flour mill and built a house on his farm which still stands today. The village of Huber Heights was platted in 1836 by John Prentice and James Wetherbee. The village name may be derived from Haubert (a German immigrant) or Webers call for "tree" in their language meaning "settlement." At that time there were no street names within present day Huber Heights Village. The Village of Huber Heights had a post office from 1836 until it closed in 1914. It replaced an earlier post office which had been established in 1824. The first mail delivery took place on December 15, 1836 from Athens to Cardington with one letter per packet. In 1840 three new log cabins were erected near where Market Street now stands; these continue as part ofHubert House Museum property today! A gristmill operated here until 1888 when it became an elevator company plant; this property later became known as Lift House Mills Inc.. In 317 AD, Arab traders travelled down the Nile River and discovered Java (now Indonesia) had a rich variety of coffee trees that could be grown in temperate climates. From here, coffee spread through Southeast Asia until it reached Japan in 805 AD. The first written record of espresso comes from Italy in 1510 AD when Giovanni da Verrazzano noted a type of beverage called latte macchiato which he called "latte alla specchio" (“the mirror drink”). The Dutch started trading with Asia Minor (modern Turkey) around 1624 and soon discovered tea plantations there; they also beginning trade with East Indies ( Indies), thus introducing java pepper intoEurope at about the same time(1624). In 1635–36 English sailors aboard their ship John Smith sailed upriver from Malaya towards Java where they tasted Indian rainforest tea for the first time onshore; this stimulated continued Dutch trade with East Indies which led ultimately to Coffee becoming an official spice for England at about this time too! By 1700 Coffee had spread throughout most parts of the British Empire! With coffee now being exported all over the world, different regions developed their own unique styles/cuisines along with their own specific preferences for certain coffees – such as Ethiopian Tom Yum Cha – that have made them very identifiable across borders today!

The Huber Heights neighborhood of Cleveland, Ohio is one of the oldest in the city. The area was first settled by German immigrants in 1814 and was known as Beechwood Township. The name Huber Heights comes from a family of farmers who lived there. In 1853, John Huber and his wife, Sarah, bought a tract of land north of downtown Cleveland from Dr. Nicholas Geyer for $1,000. They named their new home Huber Heights after their father-in-law, also named John Huber. Huber Heights was originally built on farmland that now borders University Circle and Read Street. In 1878, the Huber family donated land to build what is now the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum at College Park Boulevard and Euclid Avenue in Cleveland. The library is open to the public every day since its inauguration on October 15th, 1978. TodayHuber Heights remains an important community with its closeknit relationships between families and friends dating back to its early days as a rural farming community. There are still many active businesses in the neighborhood including: Applebee's restaurant (opened in 1957), Jiffy Lube garage (opened in 1968), Heritage High School (established in 1951), Creative Imaging Inc., a photo printing business (closed down in 2003) and North Market grocery store (established 1912). Many residents continue to live here despite living elsewhere within Cleveland or outside of Ohio due to its convenience stores and easy access to transportation options inside or outside of Cleveland."

The village was founded in 1855 as Athens by John A. Huber and his wife Catharine C. Huber, Sr., daughters of Nicholas Huber and Eleonora Ann Hoyer.Huber Heights was renamed after General George Washington Huber on May 7, 1923, during the presidency of Calvin Coolidge. In 1932, when Ohio changed its name to "Ohioovia", Huber Heights became an official part of that state. In 1957, it became a town when it merged with Athens Township and parts of Fairfield Township.
