From there on out Maurizio ran Lavazza alone until he sold it to Nestle SA in 2007 for $4 billion dollars

The first settler in Willoughby was Nicholas Hickey, who arrived in 1795. The town was platted in 1815 and named for Captain James A. William Davenport bought some land east of present-day Willoughby and founded Davenportville on what is now Dublin Road in 1825. In 1830, pioneer John Smeaton established a log cabin near present-day Ironton and named it Willoughby after his home town in Ireland where he had been born two years earlier. In 1835, Ebenezer Harmon organized a Methodist church here and built a gristmill; this mill became known as Harmony Hall after harmonica player George Hogan settled here sometime between 1840 and 1850. From 1830 to 1870, Willoughby's only grocery store operated out of an old barn on the south side of Route 22 near present-day West Broad Street. That store closed when Grocery Outlet Corporation opened its doors on Broad Street downtown in 1970 with all local stores merged into one structure under that name In 1956, General Motors opened their new manufacturing plant southwest of downtown; this led to increased traffic around Downtown which caused perennial problems with parking lot Capacity In 1969, Arthur Ashe won his fourth major championship at The Masters golf tournament; this event helped bring attention to Greater Toledo area In 1992 Ford Motor Company closed their Dearborn Heights assembly plant located there for many years; this led to job losses throughout Dearborn Heights including those at Ford's former dealership buildings which were sold to other companies In 2003–2004 Cleveland Cavaliers head coach Byron Scott coached them during their first season ever outside of Philadelphia (the year before they moved from Philadelphia to Cleveland); this led to increased traffic around Quicken Loans Arena which caused perennial problems with parking lot Capacity
