Tactical Coffee is a coffee shop located in Athens, Tennessee. This coffee shop has been serving up delicious caffeine and conversation options since 1997. The first Tactical Coffee was started by two friends, Kris and Josh. They decided to open up a small business in their garage and call it "The Spot". In the beginning, they only served up coffee and donuts. However, the popularity of their donuts led them to start selling espresso drinks as well. In 2006, they opened up a larger location on Main Street in Athens. They continue to serve amazing coffee everyday and offer great customer service! Today, Tactical Coffee consists of four locations across the United States: one in Knoxville (2007), one in Fort Worth (2009), one in Dallas (2011), and one currently located in Athens, Tennessee (2013).

It is usually ground into small doses, mixed with milk and then heated before consumption. Tactical coffee can be used as an early morning or late night wake-up call, and can be enjoyed either hot or cold.
The first coffee shop in Athens, Tennessee was opened by George and Lena Powers in 1922. They served a single cup of coffee from a small pot on the counter. The Powers family has been running the business ever since. In 1951, they moved to their current location and started serving Coffee Roasts and Teas as well as espresso drinks. In 1978, they added drip coffee service. Today, the café serves over 100 different types of coffee products including cappuccinos, lattes, macchiatos and iced coffees.
Athens, Tennessee is a town in Hardin County, Tennessee, United States. The population was 1,868 at the 2000 census. Athens is the county seat of Hardin County. The community of Athens was founded in 1837 by John Hargrave and his wife Eliza Hargrave. It was named for Athens, Georgia. In 1865, General William Taney renamed it Athens after the ancient city of Athens in Asia Minor. Aurora Elementary School is located in the downtown area of Athens. It is part of the Lexington-Fayette Independent School District and serves students from pre-kindergarten through eighth grade. The school had an enrollment of 572 pupils as of September 2004. The building has been used as a library since 1923; it now houses the Hardin County Historical Society Office and archives department.

However, some key points about how coffee became a popular drinking beverage can be drawn from historical sources. In the early 1800s, coffee was still being grown in small villages in Africa and the Middle East. It was not until after the American Revolution that coffee began to be imported into North America, where it began to gain popularity as an energy drink (especially among soldiers). Coffee also began becoming popularized as a trade item following the Revolutionary War. As tea became more popular in North America, brewers started to create alternative drinks for troops on campaign. One such drink was called "coffee" because it resembled Turkish tea without having any caffeine content. In 1826, The British military issued their own regulations governing soldier's food and drink. These regulations limited acceptable cups of coffee to single serve items and specified that each cup must have at least four teaspoons of ground beans (or two tablespoons of whole beans). This regulation helped grow popularity for Tactical Coffee as a pre-packaged soldier's breakfast drink - thanks in part to its caffeine content! However, despite its growing popularity among soldiers, Tactical Coffee faced competition from other drinks like Tea Mate and hot chocolate during the late 1800s and early 1900s. During World War II, Coffee first came into use by Allied forces as an energy source; however its popularity grew slowly due to WWII rationing policies which targeted specific foods/ Beverages rather than all beverages combined like nowdays' society does with dietary restrictions & health concerns

Oliver's book "Combat Coffee" helped to spark the interest in tactical coffee and its potential use as a combat beverage. The popularity of tactical coffee soon spread throughout the military, and began to be used by law enforcement officers, intelligence operatives, and other professionals who needed an affordable and easy-to-use beverage that could conquer any obstacle or situation.
As Athens, Tennessee was founded in 1806, it held a special place in the hearts of its residents. The community was located on the Cumberland River and soon became a center for trading with Kentucky and other states. In 1917, Athens became the seat of government for Knox County after it was moved from Lebanon. This move allowed the city to grow rapidly and become an important political and cultural center in the region. Today, Athens remains a vibrant communityrazed by tourists during summertime. The history of Athens began with small families who came to trade goods along the riverbank. By 1800, however, there were over 100 people living in what is now downtown Athens. The town quickly grew as a commercial center and attracted more farmers and entrepreneurs to its borders. By 1806, Athens had become an incorporated municipality with a population of over 120 people. During Reconstruction in America following the Civil War, Athenians contributed greatly to rebuilding efforts across the South after their homes were destroyed or damaged by Union troops. Many businesses reopened thanks to new loans and investments from local citizens. In 1865, Mayor James Caird approved plans for what would be known as "The Capitol," which would serve as headquarters for both Knox County government and public education throughout the county seat area. Construction began onsite in 1865 and completed two years later at a cost of $1 million dollars including $500 thousand from private investors! The Capitol served as home to various county offices until 1971 when it was replaced by modern day Government House which still stands today! During Reconstruction period Athenians also played an integral role in social dynamics within their communities by helping organize protests against white supremacy and lynching incidents that occurred throughout much of southern America at this time frame! From 1863-1865 many African Americans were forcibly taken from their homes near Atlantaand brought into Chattanooga where they were sold into slavery - this event is known as "The Chattahoochee Break." Afterward many freedmen traveled north through Nashville towards Fort Donelson where they sought sanctuary before being marched south back east towards Lexington (known then as Sumter) where they were auctioned off into slavery again! In 1865-1871 around 300 black men (boys under 18 years old)were dragged from Tree Hill Farms near Decaturville northeast allthe way downriverto Jackson County Jail near MobileAlabama! This event is alsoknownas"THE WILDERNESS". During these years some native Greeks also emigrated to USAACountry seeking refuge following outbreaksof violenceagainstbothChristiansandGreeksin Europeduringtheearly20th century! As part of American Migration policy many Greeks chose nottoreturntoEuropeafter experiencing greatsocialdissatisfactionduring those timespursuingAmerican dreamsinsteadofrestingbackathomeamongtheir kinfolkin Greece!!!
