The United States Air Force has a rich airforce history in Kaysville, Utah. The USAF was established on December 8, 1947 with the creation of the United States Air Forces in Europe (USAFE). It was through this organization that RAF Kaysville was activated on October 15, 1951 and first flew its Boeing B-29 Superfortress aircraft. In 1961, RAF Kaysville became operational as one of two fighter wings within the USAF EITF (European integration task force). RAF Kaysville continued to serve as an operational wing until it was disbanded on August 1st, 1996. In 1948, RAF Kaysville began providing aerial training for local civilians and military members in order to improve their flying skills. By 1952, RAF Kaysville had become a permanant fixture at Lowry Air Force Base under the command of Major General Leslie R. Turner Jr.. After numerous upgrades and expansions over time including installation of new Hangar 3A and Operations Center in 1969-1970, AFB Lowry became home to both USAAF Fighter Command - European region (F-4E) and Tactical Air Command - Pacific region (TAC-3) units when it opened its doors to the general public on September 1st 1971. Throughout much of its existence at AFB Lowry there were also several air shows which drew thousands of spectators from around the area each year. These events included flyovers by USAF aircraft during maneuvers or live demonstrations by various detachments stationed throughout Europe and Asia as well as international competitions flown overhead by USAF jets.

The Utah Air National Guard has a rich air force history in Kaysville, UT. The unit was founded on December 11, 1941 and activated on March 15, 1942. It served as an all-weather fighter squadron and later converted to the jet age in the early 1960s. In 1966, the squadron became a provisional wing and later reassigned to the Tactical Air Command. The wing was redesignated as the 299th Fighter Wing in 1984 and then again as the 319th Fighter Wing in 1990. In 1992, the wing transitioned from McDonnell Douglas F-15E Strike Fighters to Lockheed Martin F-14 Tomcats. The 306th Airlift Squadron also began flying Boeing 747's for storage at Wasatch AFB until they could be used for combat missions. In 1999, it was announced that the 309th Fighter Squadron would become operational with Lockheed Martin F-16C Fighting Falcons starting September 1st of that year. This new assignment gave Kaysville its first true fighter squadron since WWII when it had been attached to various bomber wings throughout that time period including RAF Bentwaters (later RAF Valley) before finally being transferred to USAF control in 1951!

Kaysville is an unincorporated community located in Carbon County, Utah, United States. The population was 821 at the 2010 census. Kaysville was founded by J.H. Morgan in 1881 as a small farming town on the banks of the Sevier River. It became an important stop on the railroads that connected Ogden to Salt Lake City and other parts of Utah and Nevada. Kaysville's trading post was also one of its most important businesses during its early years. Many of the town's residents were instrumental in helping develop Cache Valley and nearby communities during the late 1800s and early 1900s. Kaysville is still a small community with active businesses today, but it has seen some recent growth in terms of development, especially due to its strong relationship with the University of Utah campus.
Kaysville was founded in 1847 by Captain James H. Kays, who named it for his father-in-law, Colonel Samuel Kays. The town grew rapidly during the 1850s and 1860s, thanks to its location at the junction of two wagon trails, the Santa Clara and Great Salt Lake Trails. By 1870, Kaysville had a population of over 1,000 people. In 1872, President Ulysses S. Grant visited Kaysville and pronounced it "the most important city in Utah." In 1881, Mormon apostle Orson Hyde arrived in Kaysville to preach the gospel to local Mormons. After Hyde's death in 1882, Brigham Young appointed George Q. Cannon as his successor and Cannon organized the LDS Church here in 1883. After Young's death in 1886, Cannon continued to lead the church here until he resigned in 1889 due to health problems. In 1902, after years of growth and development within the city limits (or "zona"), Mayor Prentiss Hill proposed annexing portions of neighboring towns Provo and Orem into Kaysville so that all residents would have access to a larger town center with more businesses and services available than they could find elsewhere within their respective communities. On July 24th 1903, voters approved annexation by vote of 54% against 35%. The next year saw a major expansion of Kaysville when First National Bank moved from downtown into what is now called First Street South/First Avenue East—the first major commercial building built in what is now known as downtown KaysVILLE! During World War II many American soldiers were stationed here before being deployed overseas; many homes were converted into barracks or used as troop housing during this time period. After the war ended some families returned home but others kept living there until quite recently because they felt that living outside of downtown was better suited for their children while they attended college or served out their military obligation back home; today these homes are still standing but not used anymore because they no longer meet current zoning regulations
