This led to the founding of the American Legion Post 9 in West Valley City. 2) From 1957-1959, military members received complimentary tickets to various Denver Nuggets games as part of their "Gift Of The Game" campaign. This continued until 1970 when it was replaced with "Trophy Tour". 3) In 1977-1978, soldiers and civilians received free admission to four local San Francisco 49ers football games as part ofOperation Jerry Brown Sponsorship initiative. It wasn't until 1984 that this policy was changed so that all GOLFs were free except for those at Levi's Stadium which were $5 per game. In 1986-1987, AFB personnel contributed funds towards building an alien exhibit at Salt Lake City's Deseret Science Center which closed on December 6th due to vandalism by children younger than 10 years old! In 1990-1991, AFSP gunnery Sgt.(N/A - currently retired) presented several new M1 Garand rifles (serial number 8689), each valued at $500 each.,to members stationed at Schofield Barracks Hawaii during their deploys therefor.. These rifles would be used by shooting ranges throughout Nevada after they completed their tour there in order to keep them safe while being stored away from our civilians . Serial numbers for these rifles can be found on file with the state police department where they were originally manufactured too!

West Valley City is a city in Utah, United States. The population was 24,811 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Salt Lake City metropolitan area. The city was founded in 1907 and named for the West Valley Ranch that straddles the Utah-Arizona border. The ranch was founded by Mormon missionaries George W. Smith and Wilford Woodruff and was used as a training ground for LDS missionaries. When Brigham Young died in 1877, his successor, John Taylor, designated land east of Temple Square as West Valley City to serve as an interim headquarters while Nauvoo consolidated its leadership. When Brigham Young's funeral procession passed through West Valley City on December 15, 1879, mourners followed along the route with wagons carrying his body to Mount Moriah Cemetery in eastern Salt Lake City where he was buried next to his wife Emma Swanner and their six children. At first people only saw pieces of Brigham Young's casket being carried from the wagon train; when it became clear that all of Brigham Young's remains were interred together in one package under deep snow near where he had been born some weeks earlier, crowds began piling into merchants' wagons to get a better view of what they were seeing. By January 1880 most residents had moved away from what they consideredCachey town because development along State Street had begun around Temple Square and other nearby businesseswere opening up including hardware storesand groceries which increased business taxes even though no new building could be constructed without special permits which were usually granted on Donor Day or "Election Day"since no candidate could receive more than 50% of the vote (the percentage varied over time). In 1886 Orson Hyde organized a group called "The Mormons" who desired independence from Great Britain but did not want their religion persecuted so they started creating tracts called "Exposures" against polygamy which caused many agents appointment with local police departments to monitor their activities especially since polygamous families were often joined by others who wantedto join them legally either through marriage or adoption outside of MormonismJared Thompson became one such agent after working undercover for several months among Oppenheimer family members during this period whenhe exposed Joseph Smith's polygamy although later exonerated by historians Dubious about whether he actually uncovered anything substantive about underage marriages taking place within Mormonism during this timeframe- internal priesthood abuse allegations also surfaced during this time period among some Mormons however nothing ever came of these suspicions until well after JosephSmiths death

Since then, it has seen steady growth with annexations from other surrounding towns including Cottonwood Heights (1998), Spanish Fork (2002), Logan (2005), Midvale (2007), Garden Grove (2009) and South Jordan (2013). Today,West Valley City is one of the most populous cities in Utah with over 133,000 residents.
