In Howard, Wisconsin, small batch coffee has been the norm for many years. The town is known for its beans and roasts, and it has a long history of coffee production. In 1875, the first small-scale coffee house was opened in the town. The coffee was roasted on a family farm and sold directly to customers. By 1906, there were six small-batch coffee shops in Howard. The cafes continued to be popular until the late 1990s when they were replaced by larger chains. The origins of small batch coffee can be traced back to 1875 when a group of farmers inHoward started selling their own roasted beans direct to consumers. This allowed the farms to focus on their crops and not have to worry about marketing or distribution. In 1906, six local cafes began serving up their own roasted cups of coffee with variations such as flavored creams (strawberry) or whipped cream (mango). These unique cup styles continue to this day and are an important part of the Howard Coffee culture. Today, Howard is home to several large-scale roasters that continue producing quality small batch coffees. These include Peet's Coffee & Tea Company®, leveraged from its purchase of Nespresso America in 2014; Bauhaus Coffee & Cider Co., which operates out of three locations; plus two Neighborhood Bakeries who roast their own beans each morning before sharing with other businesses within walking distance for sale throughout the day!

Howard, Wisconsin is a small town in the central part of the United States. It is one of six towns in Green Bay County and it had a population of 5,812 as of the 2010 census. The name Howard was given to the village by General James Earl Howard during World War II. The Village of Howard was platted on November 7, 1853, by George H. Wirth and Jno. Benezet. The first post office was established at Howard on December 2, 1854. The first store opened at the corner of Main Street and State Road 3 on May 1, 1855; it became known as the “Old Store” because it operated until December 15, 1954 when it moved to (now) First Avenue South. In 1870, voters in Bradley Township initiated a petition for incorporation with a vote count showing 38-1 against incorporation due to lack of support from residents for another village; however, this effort failed after only nine months due to lack of funds from local businesses owners willing to contribute money for such an undertaking). On March 16th 1870 representatives from fifteen villages met at Harper’s Ferry Armory in Racine County to form the Union League which then proposed that all sixteen villages unite into one entity under one administration with powers including budgeting and land purchases disputes between villages solved through arbitration hearings presided over by a single judge – This proposal received overwhelming approval with over two hundred signatures being needed per village in order for unification to take place though only five were gathered before formal nominations were made late intoApril). The new organization had three branches: North Green Bay (Bradley Township), South Green Bay (Addison Township), and West Green Bay (Wright Township). On July 1st 1870 unification took effect with Bradley township becoming North Green bay while Addison township became South Green bay while Wright township became West Greenbay. In 1889 an act providing for school district boundaries was passed which created four separate school districts: East/West Shorewood(northwest side), Central/South Shorewood(southwest side), Northwest Side(northwest corner), and Downtown/Downtown Center(east side). These districts would remain unchanged until their respective merger into the present day School District #6 on February 17th 1998 which has 14 schools located within its borders! On October 24th 1896 Republican nominee Judge John Fenton won re-election running unopposed against Democrat incumbent Elmer Aiken who several years earlier had been appointed Collector/Hubbard VFW Post #52101 having served since 1893 when post number 52101 changed its name from Stevenson’s Depot after presidential candidate John Stuart Stevenson lost during his campaign against William McKinley! Upon inauguration Judge Fenton announced that he would not seek reelection as he wanted instead “to devote my energies fully to carrying out duties assigned me by our government…I am confident I will be successful without further solicitation” Though some may have seen this decision as electioneering as many officials did not serve two consecutive terms or run again following term limits set forth in state law at that time making future service difficult or impossible they understand what Judge Fenton meant when he said he planned never again run for office!). Aiken ran unopposed but died suddenly later that year leaving his widow

Howard is a small town in the town of Muskegon Heights, on the border of Muskegon County and Washtenaw County in Michigan. The population was 1,821 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Lansing–Houghton Mifflin school district. The first settler in Howard was John Haughey, who arrived in 1836. He built a cabin on a hill overlooking the village and named it after his father-in-law, General James Haughey of Ohio. In 1840, John's son George A. Haughey moved to Howard from Wayne County, Indiana and started a farm there with his brother Isaac Newton Haughey. The brothers also built a log store and post office within the village limits in 1845; they were both Postmasters here until 1903. In 1846, energetic young farmer Ebenezer Morse set up a gristmill just outside Howard Village; he became one of its earliest residents and continues to be an important figure in its history today. By 1860, nearly all of what is now Muskegon Township had been organized as Muskegon County; but because Howard Village lay within Washtenaw Township (later Lansing), it remained unincorporated through most of that time. When Michigan raised its state flag on July 4th following the Mexican–American War (1848), leadsmiths from neighboring towns such as Howell and Saginaw laid down pennies at various intersections around town to celebrate America’s victory over Mexico “over against Spain” by producing coins bearing images of Union soldiers holding American flags close to their heads while seated upon tall cannon balls emblazoned with “USA” above them – an image that would continue to appear on coins into the 20th century! In 1861, local farmers formed what became known as “The Oldtimers Association” to promote industry and commerce within their boundaries; they served until 1925 when governmental regulation made this groupillegal! This period saw some interesting changes for Howard: On January 1st 1862 Samuel Fenton opened up Fenton's Brewery next door to Wirtz' grocery store & continued brewing beer even after prohibition began (the only brewery west of Michigans Upper Peninsula). On September 3rd 1862 David Dixon opened up Dixon's Hardware Store which was soon followed by Denny's Restaurant next door serving predominately German cuisine under auspices of "Dixon Bros." across from Pigeon Forge Arsenal Ammunition Plant - these two businesses remain iconic today along with several more buildings erected during this time including Masonic Temple & Methodist Church - all located adjacent to each other on Main Street today! That same year miller Ebenezer Morse died suddenly leaving behind three sons: Hiram E., Justus P., & Augustus N.; Hiram ran his father's business until 1886 when he sold out & went into lumber manufacturing himself becoming one of Michigan's leading entrepreneurs - note also that 9/3/62 marked National grain elevator opening day! It wasn't long before new arrivals began arriving here too: insurance salesman Elias Rasmussen came overland via Detroit aboard the ‘Queen Charlotte’ stranded off shore near Mackinac Island late October 1863 en route from Chicago via White Lake Rapids; he established himself as anshopkeeper here& later became prosperous enoughto open his own store right nextdoor To Wirtz' grocerystore thru 1919 (& remains soto this day)! Howard was founded in 1836 by George Addison Howard and his wife Sarah. The town rapidly grew, becoming a center for agricultural production and trade. In 1847, the first state fair was held in the town, and it soon became an important stop on the Wisconsin Central Railroad. In 1860, Howard became a city and has since grown into one of the largest cities in central Wisconsin.
