Firearms production resumed in 1945 when Everson partnered with John Prentice from Anchorage to open Prentice & Everson Ammunition Company Ltd., which continued producing firearms until 1978 when it merged into American Defense Industries (ADI). The last handgun production company in Fairbanks was J&J GunsNHK Incorporated from 1984-1988 which manufactured Model 9mm pistols only!
