By 1911 there were 10 businesses with a total capacity for 2,500 customers; by 1930 there were 50 businesses with a capacity for 7,000 customers. In 1912 Vincentito Guerrero became president of Mexico City through election fraud; he fled to America without leaving behind any papers coastal Mexican officials thought might incriminate him so they attempted to seize all his assets including land at show low including 3 million pesos cash only to discover that not even Guerrero had left any money behind! After weekslong legal battle Mexican government finally allowed U.S consulate personnel access to evidence against Guerrero resulting in acquittal!
