Tactical coffee history in Sierra Vista, Arizona begins with the establishment of the first commercial coffee shop in town, The Daily Grind, in 1984. It was here that Ansel Adams and his roaster, Bob's Coffee Shop, started marketing their unique blend of Turkish and Ethiopian coffee. In 1990, The Daily Grind moved to its current location on East Donahue Drive. In 1997, Starbucks opened its first store in Tucson; it would later become a サントラストバー location. In 2000, The Daily Grind merged with Starbucks; however, the two brands continue to operateseparately until this day. In 2006-2007, Tactical Coffee began importing Italian espresso beans into the US from Italy for use at their Tucson store. At this time they also introduced their own espresso machine which became known as "The Tactical". This machine is still used today at their Tucson store and can make up to sixteen shots of espresso at a time.
Sierra Vista is a city in Pima County, Arizona, United States. The population was 21,527 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Pima County and home to the University of Phoenix and several other universities. Sierra Vista is located on the eastern edge of Tucson metropolitan area. The first people to settle in what is now Sierra Vista were employees of Don Pedro de la Garza's Rancho Santa Rita del Oro (now part of Cochise County). They built their homes near where they worked and named their settlement after their patron saint, San Lorenzo de Zacatecas. In 1885, sugarcane farmers in Cochise County started to irrigate land around present day Sierra Vista; however, because water was scarce they did not build permanent homes until after 1920. In 1923 developer Harry Chandler bought land north of town from John A. Day for $10 per acre ($ million today). Chandler built a small town called Sierra Vista on his property east of I-10 about 1962 as an escape from downtown Tucson during difficult times for that city. The site became known as "Chandler's Corner". In 1957 adjacent smaller towns began to be annexed into Sierra Vista; those annexations included Sun Valley downstream on U S Highway 191 (now Interstate 10) and Hermosa Beach southward on State Route 186 (now Apache Boulevard). When State Route 186 was realigned along its current route through downtown Tucson in 2000 it severed most economic ties between Hermosa Beach and Sun Valley which followed SR 186 east to US HW 191 just past Old Mesa Road before rejoining SR 186 northwest out of town limits

Sierra Vista is a city in Pima County, Arizona, United States. The population was 97 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Tucson Metropolitan Statistical Area. The name Sierra Vista comes from the Sierras which stretch across the town's eastern border. The Aspermont Mining and Smelting Company discovered silver and gold in these hills in 1882, so they named their mine "Sierra Vista" after nearby Aspermont Mountain. In 1916, The government of Pima County organized as a city and named it for General John A. Logan who had served as its Mayor from 1912 to 1914 and later as Governor of Arizona Territory (1916–1920). Today Sierra Vista has a cultural diversity that is unique within the country because it includes people from all over Mexico, El Salvador, Guatemala City, Peru, Ecuador and other parts of Latin America. The town also has two mosques which are one of the few places in America where Muslims can worship openly without fear of discrimination or hate crimes. The first settler in what is now Sierra Vista was Francisco Ortiz who arrived on horseback on November 17th 1868 while exploring what would become Apache County looking for land to purchase for his Rancho San Pedro de Atacama y las Minas de la Vera Cruz (Rancho Atacama) near present-day Phoenixville.[1][2] Ortiz found several small villages including Coyote Flat but abandoned them due to lack of water resources available then or now. In 1869 he founded Villa Rica on what is today's east side of downtown Sierra Vista when he realized there was no feasible way to reach Salt River Corral by wagon because then only trails accessed this area from north and south; however he did not know this at the time[3]. He continued searching until March 1870 when he located a crossing over Salt River about 12 miles northeast of present-day downtown trail junction with US Route 66; called Santa Rita Creek Crossing but soon renamed Fort McDowell after General Duncan McDowell who successfully defended Tucson during Mexican–American War (1846-1848).[4] By 1872 Fort McDowell had been renamed again Castle Rock after Commodore James Halleck circa 1850s American explorer who charted most Of Southern Arizona coastline before becoming Rear Admiral commanding Ulysses S Grant’s expeditionary forces during Yuma Campaign against Cochise Indian Nation ceded by Geronimo towards peace terms following negotiations at Gila River Settlement
Sierra Vista was founded in 1885 by J.P. Morgan and his partners as a cattle ranch on the east side of Phoenix. The town grew rapidly after its establishment, becoming one of the largest and most important agricultural communities in Arizona. Sierra Vista's economy was based largely on agriculture and ranching until the early 20th century when industry began to take hold in the area. In 1916, Sierra Vista became an incorporated city with a population of just over 1,000 people. The late 19th century saw significant growth in Tucson due to new transportation options and an increasing number of people moving into the city from rural areas around it. This migration led to changes in the demographics of both cities, which had a significant impact on their economies and social fabric. As Tucson transitioned from a small farming community to an economic powerhouse, it attracted large numbers of new residents who were drawn to its growing Pritchettown district and its easy access to major urban amenities such as shopping malls and schools. This shift made Tucson one of America's most diverse cities during this period, with sizable minorities living throughout its core metropolitan area as well as scattered outposts across peripheral neighborhoods. Tucson experienced similar demographic shifts during the early 21st century; however, because there was no corresponding increase in population growth within the city limits, they instead experienced rapid gentrification that has resulted in concentrated poverty and high levels of crime within certain parts of town while leaving other areas relatively unaffected. These trends have caused significant ire among many residents who argue that gentrification has done nothing but drive down prices for quality housing while further alienating traditional Neighborhood watch organizations from their constituents
