Benton State Park is a state park in Benton County, Arkansas, United States. The park covers an area of and has a population of around 10,000 people. It was created in 1922 as part of the Arkansas Department of Forestry and Wildlife's effort to improve forested areas throughout the state. The first park ranger was hired in 1923. In 1974, the department merged with the Arkansas Parks and Recreation Authority to become the present-day Arkansas Department of Transportation.
