Rogers, Arkansas is a town in Pulaski County, Arkansas, United States. The population was 1,876 at the 2010 census. Rogers was founded in 1907 by James G. Rogers and named after him. It became an incorporated town in 1912. The first store in Rogers opened on Main Street. In 1916, the first school opened in Rogers and the first post office was established there in 1918. In 1927, the first railroad depot was built in Rogers and it remains its primary commercial center today.

Rogers is a small town in the Ozarks of Arkansas. The population was 2,000 at the time of the 2010 census. It is part of Fayetteville-Springdale-Rogers School District. Rogers was founded in 1881 by John Rogers, a slaveholder and landowner. In 1901, Rogers donated 1,500 acres (600 hectares) to the community for use as a public square. The square has been used for events such as dances and funerals since then. The first school in Rogers was built in 1885 by Wm. H. Fenton and Virden Bigham Jr.. It served one grade until 1893 when it was replaced by a new school building that still stands today. The original school building is now used as the town hall. Rogers had its own post office from 1903 to 1911 and its own telephone company from 1912 to 1915. A water tower was built in 1922 and became operational in 1927; it still serves as an important part of Rogers’ infrastructure today. In 1935, Rogers incorporated as a town; it remained an incorporated village until 1985 when it became an unincorporated community again

The community has been called "The Hub" since its incorporation in 1904. It is the county seat of Pulaski County and the only city in Pulaski County. Rogers is located on U.S.-27 south of Little Rock and north of Fayetteville. Rogers was named after General George Rogers Clark who fought with General John Custer during the American Civil War and helped relocate Native Americans from what is now Oklahoma to present-day Arkansas under the Indian Removal Act of 1830. In 1904, Rogers incorporated as a town under the name "The Hub." That name stuck and has been used ever since to refer to Rogers as a center for economic development within Pulaski County. In recent years, however, some residents have objected to this moniker because it does not accurately reflect how much different life goes on inside than outside of townlimits day-to-day. A large park area exists just east of downtown that includes baseball diamonds and other sports facilities as well as a public library which opened in 2002 following years of planning by then Mayor Rick Hendrix and his predecessor Gayle McLendon (now Pulaski County Administrator). Rogers, Arkansas was founded in 1907 by John Rogers and his wife Catherine. The town is located on the banks of the Arkansas River. It became a town after it was platted in 1907. In 1913, Rogers hired George Stephenson to build the first school in Rogers. The school was built on the current site of OldRogers Elementary School. In 1945, Rogers Post Office opened and served the community until 1984 when it closed down because of lack of mail service. In 1964,Rogers started construction on its own hospital which opened in 1985. Today, Rogers has two churches - First Baptist Church and Christ Episcopal Church - as well as a library, ice rink, senior center, and more.
