The Kapp Family has been producing high quality Columbian Coffee since 1978. Today, Jim and his wife Cathy continue to lead the company as president and CEO, respectively. They produce over sixty different flavor profiles of Columbian Coffee products for sale online and at local businesses throughout Northern California and San Diego County. Alhambra, California is a city in San Bernardino County, California, United States. As of the 2010 census, it had a total population of 197. The city was founded on October 15, 1884 by Rancho Cucamonga ranchers who named their new settlement after the architectural masterpiece and estate of Spanish King Carlos III at El Alhambra. The name "Alhambra" comes from the Arabic word al-Ḥammaara meaning "the green mountain". The city's first permanent home was purchased in 1886 by millionaire Charles Waddell Avery. Avery turned his small ranch into an oasis of beauty on what was then one of the most hilly regions in Southern California. Famed architect John Burroughs designed and constructed much of the original architecture for Alhambra including its landmark buildings such as City Hall and Villa Park. In 1907, Bobby Shorten became Mayor after serving two terms as Vice President under Governor Hiram Johnson. He helped to create downtown entertainment districts including The Forum and State Street with modern movie theaters and nightclubs respectively which remain some of Alhambra's most popular attractions today. Under Shorten's leadership, Alhambra also experienced rapid growth with new subdivisions being developed along Eastern Avenue (now Interstate 805), State Street (now Main Street), Fletcher Avenue (now Elmira Boulevard) and Westheimer Avenue (now Western Avenue). This growth led to increased traffic congestion on East Riverside Drive which caused premature demolition of many old homes around that intersection in order to make way for more auto lanes; now known as Riverside Drive Marketplace. In recent years, development has stalled around Downtown/Riverside Drive due to increasing traffic congestion combined with opposition from neighbors about high levels of parking lots and other commercial development adjacent to residential neighborhoods. However plans are underway for a mixed use project called Uptown Allendale which would include residential units above a large retail center including grocery stores, restaurants and office space; this would be the first major redevelopment effort in Alhambras history since Shorten retired from office in 2007

As one moves through the community one comes into contact with many different cultures - most notably Mexican immigrants who came to work in agriculture but also formed their own communities near Highway 101 south of town while African Americans worked in local factories nearby; Japanese Americanswho had been living enclave within East Bay Municipal District; Latinos who worked various odd jobs around town before moving into housing developments such as Villa Rosa or Citizen's Heights; Vietnamese refugees who had settled near Interstate 680 outside Richmond; and finally Native American people who resided along Park Avenue which runs east-west through the heart of town
