The Aliso Viejo Air Force Station (AFS) is the home of the California Air National Guard's 138th Airlift Wing. The wing has a long history of deploying gifts to local families in Southern California. The first gift from the Aliso Viejo AFB was an airplane on May 25, 1942. The Wing gave away three planes during World War II: one to the United StatesAAF, one to the RAF, and one to Sweden as a goodwill gift. Since then, the unit has sent more than 1,000 gifts total including large airplanes and helicopters to local families in Southern California. One of the Unit's most well-known deployments was their Operation Santa Ana visit in 1992 which brought toys, candy and clothes for more than 2,000 children across Santa Ana County. In recent years it has become common for members of both wings to come together and meet with local families who have donated items or money for military projects at various schools or community events throughout Southern California. This year marks the 10th anniversary ofOperation Christmas Tree which involved sending over 4500 presents to troops deployed overseas since 9/11/2001
The Air Force has a long and proud history of deploying gifts to its allies and partners. In recent years, the service has become increasingly reliant on air cargo to bring goods and supplies to remote locations. This dependency means that air force aircraft are often unavailable to conduct airstrikes or provide support during combat. The solution? Deploying a gift! In November 2013, the USAF announced the deployment of two C-130J Hercules transports with mechanical parts from Japan in order to provide humanitarian assistance in response to Typhoon Haiyan. This was just one example of the manyaircraft sent into action during Operation Inherent Resolve, which is conducted by the United States against ISIL members in Syria and Iraq. Air Force Aircraft currently rely on ground transportation methods for both materiel and personnel deployments. This reliance will soon change, as an increasing number of aircraft are equipped with advanced carriage systems that allow them to be transported using either commercial airlines or maritime routes. This shift towards maritime transport can only mean good things for our ally’s security – and for US businesses who will now have access to new markets outside of Afghanistan, Libya and Yemen.

Aliso Viejo is a city located in Southern California, on the eastern coast of the United States. Aliso Viejo became an incorporated municipality in 1914, and as of the 2010 Census had a population of 184,651. The city is named after General José Antonio Alisalvo y Aguilera, who fought in the Mexican-American War and later served as Governor of California. The first European to visit what is now Aliso Viejo was Captain Juan Rodríguez Cabrillo on October 13th 1542. He sighted land about 30 miles (48 kilometers) east of San Diego on December 8th and gave his report to his lieutenant governor Alonso de Carpintero. On January 25th 1776, Spanish Lieutenant Francisco Pacheco discovered and landed at what is now known as Point Conception on present day US-101 near downtown Aliso Viejo. This event led to Mission Santa Margarita being founded two years later by Father Junípero Serra with help from Governor Pedro Félix de Neira in order to extend Catholicism into this new region which was then part of Mexican territory. In 1853 it was reported that there were 1,500 people living within three square miles (6 km2) of where modern day Aliso Viejo sits today (the former town limit). At that time there were no schools or other public facilities available for these settlers; they had to build their own homes and barns along with set up their own stores and businesses from scratch. When railroad ties became available for purchase in 1881 during the construction of the Central Pacific Railroad through southern California, many farmers decided to invest in this new development because it would provide them with direct access to markets throughout America. By 1903 there were over 20 businesses operating within the limits of present-day Aliso Viejo; most notably Jardinero’s Bake Shop which still stands today across from City Hall Plaza insidehistoric Independence Avenue Parkette building – one of only a few buildings remaining from when this bustling community was once home to more than 2,000 people! It wasn’t until World War II that anything really changed outside of military base operations due largely to intense commercial development occurring right next door – including large factories housing thousands military personnel who needed little or no zoning downtown since all streets opened up so easily for vehicle traffic! However following World War II local prosperity gradually began crumbling as both manufacturing jobs relocated away while high tech industry took root nearby; however recent redevelopment has breathed some life back into old neighborhoods like El Cajon Boulevard “The Main Street Of The Valley” while also creating hundreds new jobs just southAlofa Blvd., making it oneOf OC County'sMost Diverse Neighborhood Centers."

The city of Aliso Viejo, California is located in the San Gabriel Valley region of Los Angeles County. The population of Aliso Viejo was estimated to be over 100,000 in 2000, making it one of the most populous communities in southern California. The city began as a small rancho and agricultural community in 1887 on land that now includes much of the downtown area. In 1912, Aliso Viejo became an incorporated town with a population of around 50 people. It grew rapidly due to the demand for housing after World War II and the growth of business and industry. The City Council adopted a resolution in 1959 calling for the annexation of neighbouring cities, which led to the merger of Aliso Viejo with Gardena on December 8, 1963. The merger created a new city government with a single mayor and two-member council. Businesses continued to grow and decline throughout the late 1960s and early 1970s as oil prices plummeted; however, this changed during the late 1970s when oil prices increased and businesses started to thrive again thanks to new jobs in marketing, engineering, manufacturing, transportation and other industries. By 2002, Aliso Viejo had regained its former status as an economically vibrant community by ranking second among Southern California cities in terms of household income per capita according to Forbes magazine
Aliso Viejo was founded in 1887 by Spanish missionaries on the now-impenetrable protected hillside of Aliso Viejo Ranch. The land had been purchased from the Huachuca Indian Tribe and its leader, Juan Bautista Alvarado, who had helped finance and build San Francisco's first mission in 1776. The Mission Santa Ana de Alcala became a religious center for the Huachuca people c. 1800 and some of their oral histories still survive. The ranch was granted to Don José Antonio Cámpora y Tello in 1892 after he won a lottery that drew lots for it. In 1906, California became an independent country and Aliso Viejo became part of it as part of the new state of Orange County. In 1912, when San Bernardino County was created, Aliso Viejo merged with it to become one of its largest counties. In the 1940s and 1950s there were several massive construction projects led by local developers which transformed Aliso Viejo into one of Southern California's most popular tourist destinations: The Pierogiadero Dam (1944), Hollywood Hills (1950), Disneyland (1955), Newport Beach (1957) and finally Saugus Bayou Casino Resort (2002). The pierogiadero dam is still standing today despite being extensively damaged by hurricanes Katrina and Rita in 2005; however, much work has since been done to improve it including replacement or enhancement of many key Flash flood barriers along its edge including at least two sets of movable barriers
