In 1990–1991 Lorenzo expanded burrocoffee company operations into two new business units: La Colombe & Sons RetailRoasting Corporation (LTC)and Socorro Coffee & Tea Corporation (SCTC). La Colombe & Sons Retail Roasting Corporation produces light roasted Sumatra beans while Socorro Coffee & Tea Corp produces dark roast beans; both businesses are focused on sales and marketing their products within local scenes throughout Southern California Through these acquisitions numerous changes took place at LTC including expansions into Texas (1994), Nevada (1996), Oregon (1998), Arizona Republic Roadside Café LLC(2002), Baja Mexican Barista Cafe(2005), D’Angelo’s Pizza Place(2007) followed by Calabasas Starbucks(2008). These additions helped create an even more diverse range of flavor profiles available from around Northern California through direct sales channels In 2006 LTC merged with Socorro Coffee & Tea Corp forming Sociorro Incorporated which continues to produce quality bean coffees under their own name outside Southern California markets
