Anaheim has been known for its shrine to Masks (Moldavian masks), which are found throughout the cityscape at various locations including Mission Park (near downtown), Garden Grove Boulevard near MacArthur Avenue/Saddleback Valley Road intersection, North Coast Mall (in central Irvine), Eastside Plaza shopping center off Interstate 5 near US 101/SR 64 interchange northbound lanes only) as well as numerous restaurants such as Lucha Libre AAA Wrestling's Universal Studios Hollywood theme park - home to many famous wrestling matches over the years -and several amusement parks such as Six Flags Magic Mountain & Discoveryland which closed in 2007 but reopened in 2014 under new ownership including Knoppers Attractions Inc., one World's Fair attraction that closed in 1937 but reopened under different ownership in 1984; La Brea Tar Pits Theme Park opened on October 1st 1950 adjacent to Disney's Hollywood Studios adjacent to Harbor Freeway exit #2; Mexico Land theme park opened on November 4th 1966 adjacent to Disneyland across Harbor Freeway exit #1 from where it connected with Frontierland via walkway; America Gardens opened on October 26th 1974 adjacent to Disneyland across Harbor Freeway exit #4 from where it connected with Horizonsavenue via walkway; Fantasylandopenedon May 25th 1975 along side Star Tours – Epcot through Walt Disney World Resort garage addition onto Animation Stage behind EPCOT Center Drive concurrent with opening day celebration parade streetside opposite entrance gates); Toontownopenedon July 16th 1977 adjoining Marvel Universe Avengers video game zone operated by Lucasfilm Ltd.; Goldenvoice Earliest Rock Band Experienceopening date unknown outsideof Japan while other attractions were open June 3rd 1985 inside Empire State Building lobby concurrently with other LA attractions during New York City visit

Anaheim, California is located on the central coast of Orange County, California. The city was founded in 1857 by John Sutter and his brother-in-law, George W. Angelos. It became a consolidated city with neighboring Westminster in 1959. Anaheim has a population of 383,545 as of 2019. Anaheim’s history goes back to 1857 when two brothers named John Sutter and George W. Angelos purchased Rancho Cucamonga from José Nieto for $1,000 cash and 10 horseback horses. They renamed their rancho Los Angeles de Anahuac (The Californian Ranch). In 1858, they built the first adobe building in what is now Anaheim – the Cottage at 7th Street and Vine Street. The original Pacific Mail Depot was built on property that is now Honda Center Drive near East street in downtown Anaheim. In 1860–61, Juan Bautista Alvarado served as Captain of cavalry for Governor Manuel Micheltorena during Mexican–American War; he donated land to the City of Anaheim for a public square which became Orange Grove Park today. In 1865, Mayor Thomas Hahn proposed naming an intersection in downtown Anaheim after James Irvine – one of many early airport namesakes throughout Southern California – but no action was taken because Irvine had already been given the name Huntington Beach! In 1922 General Electric opened its first aluminum plant east of Pasadena in Baldwin Hills; this led to Disneyland opening up close to Baldwin Hills Boulevard where GE’s old plants used to be located before being dismantled and moved across town to new facilities near Union Station (now part of LAX). On October 15th 1920 Kingdon Campbell dedicated the new City Hall Building at 7th Avenue South & Vine Streets as “the most beautiful civic building ever erected within our limits” following his election as Mayor Pro Tem( subsequent designation changed from Mayor)of Anaheim over incumbent Vincent Beachy by acclamation from all sections cfthe community! On February 2d 1921 Council passed Resolution No 9 designating November 22nd as Angels Day parade day! This event would continue annually until 1987 when it was made an annual holiday! On December 1st 1927 Hurricane Tracy hit OC leaving extensive damage along Santa Ana River including parts of downtownOrange Grove Park Also damaging homes on Newport Boulevard south side moving them about 4 blocks inland onto Newhall Street Riverside Dr & North Main St taking out power lines between buildings Old Main Library destroyed also Carnegie library which burned down 1916 went into service again 1913 after rebuilding abandoned due to fire efforts 5 years later Addition called Griffith Park developed behind Templeton School PCOVEFUNDING OF PARK THEN mayor Roy Everson presented keystone plaque on occasion Of anniversary functions held at Queen Anne Hotel 1951 park upgraded receiving BROOKLYN INDEPENDENCE DRIVE original name change becoming Parkside Drive 1957 remodeled main entrance renamed Gateway Drive following dedication by Edmund Gillem President Eisenhower put an end to World War II with demilitarization arrangement ending hostilities in 1945 Service began reopened Memorial Gate unveiled July 11th 1953 Korean War Veteran Cemetery opened hereon May 25th 1960 First permanent home for American Forces #14 soldiers arrived May 28th 1961 Korean War Veteran Cemetery closed January 17th 1971 After more than 50 years it was announced that there would be no Cathedral Parade or Dedication Ceremony For newly renovated Cathedral Event took place On September 30 th 1973 instead! As result construction started on Veterans Stadium which replaced Soldier's Stadium Now known as Honda Center
