Tactical Coffee, Inc. was founded in Anaheim, California in 1984 by entrepreneurs John and Patty Pritzker. The company has since become one of the leading coffee companies in the world with over 20 locations throughout North America. Anaheim, California is a city in southern California. With a population of over 316,000 as of the 2010 census, Anaheim is the most populous municipality in Orange County and one of the most populous cities in the United States. Anaheim was founded on November 12, 1887 by Captain John Sutter and his men from Sacramento as part of the 19th century Gold Rush. The region now covered by Anaheim was inhabited by Tongva people until they were forced out by Spanish settlers in 1769. Anaheim became part of Mexico City after its independence from Spain was successful in 1821. In 1850, Irish-American James K. Polk became the 26th Governor of California; he recommended that Los Angeles be divided into two counties – Orange to become what would become Santa Ana County and Anaheim to become an independent city proper. On July 4, 1857, an act known as the Newland Act created: "Anaheim Township", which included all present-day Orange County; "Anaheim Hills" were named for General Edmund Neely Butler who fought at Buena Vista during Mexican–American War Actress Clara Bow donated land to build a park called Hollywood Park on September 6, 1909 following her death services for former President William H. Taft at Hollywood Cemetery (now Hollywood Boulevard). The first post office opened in what is now Downtown Disney on December 3, 1911; it was closed due to World War I service obligations before opening again on January 3, 1923 under Mayor Roy Jethro Wilson's administration. After construction began on Disneyland's theme parks (the first being Mickey Mouse Clubhouse), Walt Disney moved his company from mouse house No 1 to Building 7 on October 15th 1955; this marked the beginning of Disneyland as an international tourist destination with other amusement parks being built throughout Southern California during this time including Universal Studios (which would later become Islands Inc.)
