In 1824, a company was founded in Rome, Italy, called Piedmont Coffee Company, which commenced trading under the name of Italian Coffee. In 1837, two American entrepreneurs named John D. Rockefeller and Cornelius Vanderbilt founded their own coffee company in New York City called The Dutch East India Company (TECDY). At this time coffee was still considered a luxury item and only the rich could afford to purchase it. TECDY began selling beans from small roasting plants all over America. In 1847, an Austrian businessman named Johann Tesch started trading under the name of German-Austrian Coffee Company. This company exported beans all over Europe and became one of the most important coffeeshippers in history. In 1860, an Englishman named Robert Stevenson set up a business importing Java coffee from Indonesia and exporting roasted beans to England through his company Jardine & Co.. By 1863 Teddington had become one of the world's largest coffee producing towns with more than 1,500 shops catering to consumers worldwide. During World War II, many European countries Trading companies such as Ruprecht Kapsch sold their coffee exports to United States during wartime for military supplies however at some points these sales were not completely transparent so there is evidence that some cups may have come from illegitimate sources

It is located on the north side of Kern Valley and has a history dating back to 1853 when it was called "Napa". Anderson became a city in 1912 and its name changed to Anderson in 1945 after World War II servicemen from the town founded the Anderson Civic League. In 1951, Anderson's first post office opened and it remained an unincorporated community until 1959 when it incorporated as a city under the name of Anderson. The origins of Anderson date back to 1853 when it was called Napa by early European settlers who arrived in search of gold prospecting operations in what is now Kern Valley. By 1875, there were over 100 French-owned or -operated businesses in Napa County with cotton plantations accounting for nearly half of all cultivated land. The arrival of American pioneers during the late 19th century brought new life to the valley and by 1902, Napa County had 2,000 people living within its borders. In 1912, following World War I veteran Christopher Noyes' donation of $5,000 towards building a school and civic center in honor of his hometowns during his time spent as military sergeant stationed at Fort Bragg near Jacksonville Florida (then San Diego), Napa's then- Mayor George Earle donated land south of Highway 120 on which today's downtownAnderson rests. On August 16th 1915 City Council voted 3-2 to change Smythe Street from one side street running east-west through downtown to one running north-south with two blocks dividing it into two sections for single family homes on each side with no vehicular traffic allowed between them – an ordinance that remain unchanged today! After years of planning by Earle's wife Clara Streetsmith (1886-1964) and their daughter Vera Streetsmith (1924-) – including raising money for streetscape improvements humpback ridge Road leading west from Main Street crossed First Creek on October 15th 1924; naming creek after Mrs Streetsmith along its banks making possible future development downstream beyond their property line which would include shopping malls and other large tracts currently undeveloped! In 1850, Anderson was named one of the first U.S. towns to be incorporated as a city. By 1860, Anderson had become an important regional transportation hub with an extensive network of wagon roads and trails that connected the nearby mines and mills to other parts of the country. During the American Civil War, Anderson participated in several skirmishes and battles near its location on the eastern edge of Nevada Territory. By 1865, however, Anderson had all but disappeared from history due to its rapid decline in population and wealth following the war's end. However, it continues to hold a few remaining memories today thanks to its rich Gold Rush history."
