Maga Coffee is a coffee company that has been in business since 1978. The company was founded by George Maga and his wife, Jane. At the time of their founding, maga coffee was the only commercially available coffee in Apple Valley. Maga Coffee began selling its beans direct to consumers in 1978. In 1984, maga coffee became the first US-based coffee company to sell ground beans online. In 2006, maga Coffee opened its own retail store in Apple Valley which remains open today. In 2013, maga Coffee merged with Starbucks Corporation (SBUX) and changed its name to Starbucks Maga Coffee Limited. This move signaled a shift from independent caffeine operations towards larger corporations within the food industry as a whole. Today, Starbucks Maga Coffee operates two stores in California - one located in SoCal and another located in San Diego – as well as an online store that sells both beans and single serve pods. Today’s success story for Coca Cola’s long-time rival can be traced back to1978 when George Maga and Jane set up shop down the street from each other at 4696 S State Highway 113--the very same address where they would later open their own coffee house called “The Beanery” more than 15 years later! After starting off small with just 3 bags of fresh roasted beans per month for their local customers, they quickly established themselves as America’s leading roaster of quality coffees! Especially during tough economic times when people were looking for alternatives to processed foods – like soft drinks – George & Jane harnessed all of their decades of experience manufacturing unique Columbian Roasts into what we know today asmagacoffee!

The name "Apple Valley" comes from "Appleseed", an agricultural region in central California which included parts of what is now Stanislaus and Sierra counties.
Apple Valley is a small town in the San Joaquin Valley of California, about 25 miles east of Fresno and 50 miles west of Sacramento. The population was 5,573 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Fresno-Madera-Hanford, CA Metropolitan Statistical Area. The area around Apple Valley was first settled by Native Americans in the 1800s. A large tree stand operated by Capt. George C. Smith was found on an old Indian trail near present day Interstate 10 and Pioneer Road in 1902. At that time, it was one of the largest stands of apples in California and export sales ranked it as high as $27 per ton (UPS). In 1906, Captain Smith's son-in-law started a orchard on his father's land just north of Apple Valley near where I-10 now meets Imperial Highway. By 1915, there were over 100 apple trees on 1/2 mile (800 ft) wide strips across three farms; most production took place during winter when apple buds opened and grew quickly to become fruit trees ready for harvest in late April or early May. In 1916 Captains George Wightman and Clarence Kapp donated their farmstead between Pickering Road and Avenue P to the University of California at Davis for use as a research station for viticulture research under Drs John Bodnar and Ernest Hargrave which included experiments with new cold storage techniques then being developed at Davis Agricultural Research Station including those used to ship Apples from Arbuckle County through Stockton to terminals downriver into Sachem Bayou near Bakersfield where they were offloaded onto barges bound for various markets worldwide before arriving at various industrial sites such as Inland Empireysical Laboratories (IUL), Nourse Company Warehouse (now known as ABC Supply), General Electric Company Power House (now known as Heritage Hall), Northrop Grumman Corporation Headquarters Building Annexe No.: 4 - this building still stands vacant today except for office space used by UC Davis Extension Services) Captain Smith's Orchard reached its peak production in 1951 with 2 million pounds (~1 metric tons)of apples exported from America that year alone; however World War II interrupted these exports due to NRA restrictions on importation of food products during wartime period In 1943 Captain Smith’s son-in-law Lane Oberg founded Alpha Fruit & Vegetable Inc., eventually becoming one of America’s leading agricultural retailers selling groceries, frozen items, produce and flowers throughout central California . Alpha Produce continued operations until 1981 when it merged with Safeway Incorporated . After several years closedown voluntary liquidationAlpha reopened as an independent company continuing operations until 1999 During World War II many people left Apple valley because they could not find work overseas because war production stopped while food imports becamerestricted

The commercial development began in the 1940s when several businesses moved to Apple Valley from nearby Lake Tahoe. After World War II, agriculture declined and apple production increased only marginally until the late 1990s when a wave of new housing developments appeared in central Apple Valley. Today, Apple Valley retains its small towns feel with close-knit communities that support one another through various activities such as mutual aid societies, schools, churches and volunteerism
