Baldwin Park is a city located in San Bernardino County, California, United States. The population was 66,594 at the 2010 census. It is the seventh-largest city in San Bernardino County and its largest city by population within the 10-county metropolitan area. Baldwin Park is also one of two cities in San Bernardino County with a Hispanic majority (the other being Rancho Cucamonga). The first people to live in what is now Baldwin Park were the Tongva people who inhabited the hilltops and coastal plain around present-day downtown. They were displaced by settlers from Southern California about 1800-1850. In 1868, General Antonio López de Santa Anna ordered all Native Americans living north of Mission Viejo be removed from their lands in what is now Orange County; they were allowed to keep their land but it was designated as part of Rancho San Pedro y Santa Ana In 1875, Mexican immigrants Miguel Hidalgo and José Gálvez arrived on horseback from Baja California and started ranching near Valencia. On February 26, 1876, they organized a battalion of volunteer infantry under Lieutenant John Sutter called "Los Angeles Battalion" to fight for Mexico against American forces at Monterrey while supplies lasted; they lost 16 men killed and 53 wounded including Lt Hidalgo himself In 1899–1900, James Atherton built an electric streetcar line between Los Angeles and Pasadena which became known as the Baldwin Park Line On December 1st 1888 City Manager Walter Peebles died suddenly after years of service; he had been planning the organization of a city government for Baldwin Park Arthur Sewell served as interim mayor until March 3rd 1889 when Federal Judge Augustus Kelley took office On April 12th 1889 Mayor Sewell declared martial law due to rioting by white citizens over implementation of new water rights laws passed by State Senator George Mathers Jr.; however no arrests were made because sheriff's deputies were already on duty everywhere except inside businesses

This year marks the 50th anniversary of Operation Santa Claus which united Thorp AFB (now Joint Base Lewis-McChord) with Tinker AFB (now Air Combat Command) in Oklahoma City for a three-weekiftronic training campaign that prepared pilots for Strategic Air Command's strategic bombing campaigns against Japan during World War II. This event also marked the first time that these bases were combined under one roof and was considered an important milestone in USAFthe organization's development during World War II.

Baldwin Park is a census-designated place in Los Angeles County, California. The population was 21,526 at the 2010 census. Baldwin Park was founded on May 10, 1886 by George W. Baldwin and his wife Elmira Witherspoon with the intent of creating a town in southern portions of Los Angeles County that would be accessible to farmers and other rural residents. The community grew quickly and by 1902 it had a post office, school, railroad station, grocery store, Lighthouse Hotel and several churches. By 1916 the town had acquired its own telephone company and two newspapers; one for English-speaking people only and one for all citizens. In 1924 it annexed part of Covina. In the late 1960s many small businesses closed due to competition from larger businesses in neighboring cities such as Carson City and Fullerton; however, some persisted such as Joe's Pizza which remains open today. After years of turmoil caused by hippie protests that began around 1970 and continued until 1978 when local police were called to disperse them, the city of Los Angeles annexed Baldwin Park intoLA in 1984 making it an official city park full time
