Banning, California is a city in San Bernardino County, California, United States. The population was 20,830 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of San Bernardino County. Banning became an incorporated town in 1907 and one of the original cities in Riverside County on November 3, 1912. On July 14, 1916 the City of Banning merged with the Town of Moreno Valley to form the current city of Banning. The first post office opened in Banning on January 17, 1900. The City of Banning's economy focuses on services such as education and health care; while Moreno Valley has developed into a major agricultural center and manufacturing center over the years. The two municipalities have been working together to redevelop their downtown areas for over a decade now and it is hoped that this will lead to more retail businesses opening up within walking distance of each other as well as new housing developments that can accommodate growing populations. What began as simply providing service to its own citizens quickly turned into something much larger when both towns decided to team up and create what would become known as "The Army Deployed Gift History" program back in 2007. At first it was just a simple idea - give back to our military members who had served by hosting various events and activities which included art exhibits, food trucks etc... but soon enough things took on a life all their own! Not only did we see amazing displays from local artists but alsoArmy families came out en masse to enjoy some great eats from local restaurants! In 2015 we even hosted an event at The Forum in Riverside which saw many units from our military come through town for an evening of fun including games, music and presentations from various brass bands! All told we managed to bring nearly 100 servicemen/women together for an evening that was truly unique and memorable!

The battalion served in the Pacific Theater of Operations and was one of the first units to arrive in Japan after the war ended. In 1946, the battalion relocated to Fort Ord, California and participated in The Korean War. The battalion returned to Banning in 1951 and remained there until it disbanded in 1957.

Each country exchangedChristmas presents (except for Romania which gave clothes to Bulgarian servicemen). 2) A group of US Marines stationed in Germany presented their battalion's commanding general with a luxury villa complete with pool, spa and all necessary amenities for his enjoyment on New Year's Eve 2007. 3) A detachment of Japanese marines stationed in Spain gifted their commanding officer two motorcycles along with designer clothing and accessories worth €30,000 (£24,000/$38,000). The marines also made sure that their commander received plenty of rest during his holidays by presenting him with a bed from his own room as well as several dozen cups of tea from his personal mess hall! 4) More recently, troops have Deployed Gifts home soil as well! In 2013, around 50 American Soldiers sent back home boxes filled with items like camping gear and cookware that they had collected while deployed overseas - including items like tents and sleeping bags!
