The United States Air Force has a long history of deploying gifts to its citizens and allies. The Beaumont-McFadden AFB Gift Exchange was initiated in 1991 by First Lt. Timothy McFadden, the then-Air Force's gift officer for Beaumont. The exchange is one of the oldest air force gifting programs in the world and has grown into an annual tradition that brings together service members and civilians from all over the country. In honor of National Military Spouses Day, we are honoring Air Force deployed gift history with a retrospective article on the Beaumont-McFadden AFB Gift Exchange. This program provides servicemen and women from across the nation with unique opportunities to interact with civilians from local communities, as well as give back to their community through donation of goods or services. The Beaumont-McFadden AFB Gift Exchange began as a small initiative within the Air Force but has since evolved into an annual tradition that brings together service members and civilians from all over the country. With more than 1,500 participants annually, it is one of America's largest gift exchanges – giving servicemen and women an opportunity to interact directly with civilian counterparts while also giving back to their community in some way. Throughout its history, the Beaumont-McFadden AFB Gift Exchange has been dedicated to providing servicemen and women with unique opportunities to interact with civilians from local communities as well as give back to their community through donation of goods or services. This year's event will focus on celebrating National Military Spouses Day at Ft Worth Army Reserve Center – home to many AFWG volunteers who support military families during this important day! As part of our celebration, we will be hosting special events such as golf tournaments benefiting local charities; bake sales benefiting local schools; dinner dances benefiting veteran organizations; and more! Beaumont is a city in San Bernardino County, California. The population was 61,049 at the 2010 census. It is located on the eastern edge of Riverside County and is bordered by the cities of Arroyo Grande to the south, Commerce City to the east, Beaumont to the north, and Jurupa Valley to the west. The community dates back to 1879 when Spanish missionaries founded Mission San Gabriel Arcangelico Mexico because they wanted land for their own people and saw value in citrus growing hereabouts. The first post office was established in 1883 and increased its population rapidly due to trade with neighboring Riverside County. In 1912, Beaumont incorporated as a city under state law; it became an official town in 1916. In 1941–1942 during World War II as part of Operation Neptune's Spear, Beaumont played host to some of America's most famous military personnel including General Douglas MacArthur and Admiral Chester Nimitz who were given command of Task Force 40 which successfully attacked Japanese forces stationed on Leyte Island.

Of all these racial groups combined only 2%.2% are registered Democrats while 98%, or almost all residents report being Republicans or independents who lean Republican
Beaumont was founded in 1859 by John Beaumont and his wife, Eliza. The town flourished for a time due to its location on the San Joaquin River, but it began to decline in the 1870s as railroads came into town. In 1892, Beaumont merged with several other towns to form Oakland.

The United States Air Force Deployed Gift program is an annual initiative which allows service members and their families the opportunity to purchase a gift for someone in the military.
