Coffee - as well as numerous smaller businesses that contribute to the city's unique flavor profile.

In 1912, Beaumont became the only city in California to respond to the America's Cup competition with a volunteer team that finished sixth in the event's inaugural tournament. The city also donated $1,000 to help send American sailors to compete against international teams from Europe and Australia at the 1913 America's Cup race off San Francisco Bay. In 1916, Beaumont hosted its first international fair which featured exhibits from all over North America and Europe. That year also saw the opening of its first business district known as "The Square." This area would become home to many of Beaumont's later cultural icons including The Art Institute of California (now UC Berkeley), The University of Texas at Austin School of Arts and Sciences, and finally The Dallas Cowboys football team’s training facility in 2003. In 1949, Beaumont enacted an ordinance establishing nightlife within its limits; this early effort helped spur development along Mission Creek which now includes several award-winning nightclubs such as SoHoBar and Boiler Room. In 1984, local businessman Don Ritchie opened Beaufort Grill & Pub which quickly gained national attention for its innovative French cuisine and overall stylish atmosphere. Beaumont lies on a plateau overlooking the Mexican border and is one of the most ethnically diverse cities in the United States. It has been called "The City of Roses" for its abundance of roses and other plants that are used in traditional Chinese medicine. The first permanent settlements in what is now Beaumont were made by Anglo-Saxon fur traders in 1824. The city was founded by George Washingtons friend, James Longstreet, from Baltimore, Maryland on November 15, 1827 as a trading post on Rancho Buena Vista east of modern day Beaumont. Beaumont grew rapidly during the late 19th century due to its location across from Mexico and its strategic position as a rail junction linking southern California with San Francisco. The arrival of automobiles and other transportation technologies led to rapid growth during this time and Beaumont became known as one of America's leading automotive manufacturing centers. In 1916, President Woodrow Wilson proclaimed Beaumont an open town open to all citizens regardless of race or color. This policy helped drive integration into local society which continued until today. During World War II, Beaumont played an important role as both an munitions production center and military training ground for American troops deployed abroad. The city also experienced significant racial violence during this time period after efforts by white supremacists to violently integrate black people into local society failed miserably. Afterward, many African Americans relocated to West Oakland or elsewhere within Californias growing black community while some continue to reside in Beaumantown today (the original settlement). Today, BeaumONT remains a diverse cultural hub with various restaurants and businesses catering to a variety of cultures including Mexican-American cuisine; Vietnamese food; Indian restaurants; Korean restaurants; Italian restaurants; Asian fusion eateries; Asiatic stores - nearly every ethnic category represented at some point during their tenure inside DowntownBeaumONT since 1978! Despite these obstacles - diversity continues to thrive thanks largely to grassroots initiatives such as upcoming music festivals/exhibitions organized by organizations like Black Lives Matter Austin & Northeast LA Roots Festivals Coalition whose goal it is "to create space where everyone feels heard" - something that can only come about when individuals take ownership not just anecdotally but bitingly through collective experiences themselves!

Beaumont is a city in Orange County, California, United States. The population was 153,912 at the 2010 census. It is the second most populous city in Orange County after Costa Mesa and ranks as the 11th largest city statewide. The first permanent settler in what is now Beaumont was George John Sutter, who arrived on horseback from Sacramento on November 3, 1849. He named his new town after General James K. Polk's home state of Maine. In 1865, a group of Mormons led by Brigham Young founded the Salt Lake Valley Settlement just south of Beaumont and began to build their own settlement there called Cache Valley which they named "Draper". They stopped building when Mexican forces invaded Utah Territory in 1867 and took over much of what would become Beaumont. However, Mormon residents continued to live and work in Draper until it was destroyed by fire in 1871. "Draper" today stands as a reminder of this time period while also honoring those that left behind- many of whom are buried there still today within Mormon Cemetery #2 near Main Street & Depot Road
Beaumont, California was founded in 1869 by John C. Fremont and his family. The town became a resort center after the opening of the Sierras in 1871. The town's importance increased with the establishment of nearby Yosemite National Park in 1903. In 1959, Beaumont was incorporated as a city and has since seen significant growth.
