A post office was established at Belleview in 1903, but no mail ever arrived there because there were no roads then; until 1907 When an orange grove and two houses were donated by Mrs Ethel Janssen for use as a post office box; service began Regularly on October 15th 1907 with Mr/Ms Earle Post Office bellowing "New mail here!" In 1931-1932 Dr Edward Culp moved to Belleview from San Francisco and started an operating theatre here which supplied many hospitals during WWII with medical supplies etcetera
