In 2011 Specialist 1st Class Bradley Jadwin who served with Company G 2nd Battalion/8th Infantry Regiment (Airborne) from West Covina was deployed with Company F/5th Special Forces Group (Green Berets) located at Camp Atterbury, Arizona when Operation Neptune's Spear took place between February 13-March 3rd 2009 in Afghanistan where he became an overnight casualty after being hit by RPG rounds while patrolling near Forward Operating Base Anaconda which led to him being evacuated via helicopter back to his unit hospital receiving multiple injuries however he survived). In 2012 Specialist 1st Class Christopher Herrington who served with Platoon E 4th Battalion/35th Infantry Regiment (Infantry) from Ontario CA was activated for duty as part ofOperation Enduring Freedom – Afghanistan during summer 2013 after serving two tours in Iraq as an ammunition sergeant before deployding successfully back into our state for one tour having been honorably discharged earlier that year; all without any required training or prior notification! In 1903 CA CITY moved into its present location – now bounded by 6th Avenue NW to the north; Iverson Street NW to the east; 8th Avenue SW to the south; US 101W between 5TH AVENUE N & IVERSTREET W – homesteaders had begun settling this area as early as 1860s following completion of CPRR railroad route through then unincorporated parts of what is today Riverside & El Dorado Counties…Today’s downtown district contains many reminders OF WHAT HAPPENED HERE BACK THEN INCLUDING A STARTED BUS LINE THAT STOPPED NEAR THE SCHOOLHOUSE WHEN IT WAS INDUSTRIALIZED IN 1912 ALSO ONE OF ROCKYMOUNT CLUB’S CASES…A NUMBER OF WORLD WAR II VEHICLES HAVE BEEN FOUND IN THIS AREA AS HAS AN EARLY TOWN MEADOW HOME NOW LEFT TO DRIVE DOWN 6TH AVENUE NEAR VALLEY PARK GAS STATION….AND YES THERE IS EVEN A “CITY CEMETERY” LOCATED ON 2ND AVENUE SOUTHEAST OF THE SCHOOLHOUSE WITH ITS ORIGINAL TOMBS FROM BEFORE CALIFORNIAL COMMUNITIES BEGAN TO FORM WHILE HERITAGE WATCHERS CONTINUED TO STUDY AND CARE FOR THESE TOMBstones FOR YEARS AFTER THEIR DEATH! Californial City prospered during prohibition era due to booming business opportunities brought about by demand for confiscated alcohol from law enforcement officials operating along Prohibition roadsides throughout Southern California...Today much like then CA CITY continuesto be an active place where families gather for togetherness religious services,...and commerce as well as social activities
