The first coffee shop in Campbell, California was opened in 1915 by a man named Harry Morse. The store became known as the First Coffee House and served coffee until the early 1920s. In 1922, Josephine Morse opened her own cafe, which continued to serve coffee until the early 1930s. In 1938, Al Lapp opened his first grocery store in Campbell and began selling fresh produce and coffee. The store remained open until 1981. In 1984, Don Kernaghan opened his first restaurant in Campbell called Don's Place. The restaurant served breakfast, lunch and dinner until it closed in 1992. In 1991, Jens Hansen started brewing his own coffee at his home brewery called Hansen's Coffee Company. He served coffee from his brewery until 2001 when he sold it to Tommy Jooesmith who continued to serve coffee from his business until 2004 when it closed down due to financial problems. In 2006, Adam Wojnarowski reopened Don's Place as an Italian-themed restaurant called Pizazzo Pizza which continue to serve food from their original location including pizza ever since.
Campbell is a small town located in the Sacramento Valley of California. It was founded in 1849 by prospectors John and James Campbell. The first post office was established in Campbell in 1850. At the time, it was the largest town in California. Campbell grew rapidly as a result of its proximity to mines and railroads. By 1870, it had become an incorporated city with a population of over 100 people. In 1914, the city annexed nearby Winchester. Today, Campbell is a census-designated place (CDP) with a population of just over 1,000 people. The history of Campbell began with John and James Campbell who both came from Scotland to America in 1849. They were part of the Gold Rush era and started out working on gold mines near Yosemite National Park before settling in what is now southern Sacramento County. They built their own cabin on High Rock Mountain which they namedCampbell after their home countrymen Clan Macdonald which lived about two miles away from them at that time. For many years, this was the only inhabited settlement within direct sight of San Francisco Bay; later other settlements were established around various trade routes including Anza-Borrego Springs, Carpinteria Canyon, Diablo Lakes and Offutt Air Force Base until finally Smithfield became an incorporated town outside OFAFB during World War II when that area became available for military purposes following defense buildup preceding war). Campbell was founded in 1850 by John Wesley Campbell and his wife, Anna Maria. The town was named after General William Tecumseh Sherman, who had fought in the Mexican-American War. In 1881, the Campbell family sold the town to J.P. Morgan and Company for $1 million. In 1913, during World War I, Campbell became one of the original U.S. towns to be evacuated due to air raids. The town was again evacuated in 1942 due to the bombing of Pearl Harbor. After World War II ended, Campbell experienced a period of growth as businesses opened up and new homes were built. However, over time the population began to decline and development stopped occurring inCampbell until it lost its status as a postwar military base in 1990 when it was merged into Monterey County

English named the town after his friend and business associate Colonel John Campbell during an effort to raise funds for English's military campaign in Mexico during the Mexican–American War (1846-48). On October 20, 1859, a group of men led by Jno.[1] S[atchell] opened what became known as Campbell's Store on Shafter Street which became one of the original commercial centers in Northern California due to its location near both major transportation routes - Ulysses S. Grant Road (now Interstate 5) and Highway 24 - making it easy for entrepreneurs to reach consumers across multiple counties without having to leave their settlements or cities
