Through word-of-mouth marketing and social media platforms, Kibbe began to grow his following and influence within the carlbad community. He also realized that there was an opportunity to create an empire by selling maga coffee throughout California. In 2010, he purchased two stores in San Diego and Orange County and began expanding into Nevada and Arizona soon after. Today, Maga Coffee has more than 50 locations across North America including 10 international locations across six continents. The company offers three types of beans: Kenyan beans used for their signature flavor profile; Ethiopian Yirgacheffe Beans used for their unique sweetness; Arabic Bolivian Javas for their smooth texture; and Guatemalan Antioquia Sumatra For Their fruity flavor profile which can be enjoyed cold or over ice

The beans are also ground for use in espresso, cappuccino, and other brewing methods. The Arabica beans were grown in the mountains of central Africa, while the Robusta beans were grown in Italy. In 1928, they moved their operations to what is now the Maga Café on Main Street in Carlsbad. This led to increased crime rates which have since started to decline but still remain high compared to other cities throughout America.
