"Eddie" Stroud, Jr., USAF (ret.) who served as Commander in Chief, 3rd Tactical Fighter Wing at San Diego Army Base. In 1959, a McDonnell Douglas DC-8 donations were received which included two McDonnell Douglas MD-80 jetliners each valued at $2 million! These jets were gifted by General Curtis E. LeMay, USAF (Ret.), Commanding General of United States Air Force Pacific (USAF P-3) Area! In 1978, a Lockheed C-130H Hercules aircraft donation was made which included three Lockheed L-1011 Starfighters each valued at $24 million! These planes were gifted by General Dynamics Lieutenant Colonel Donald Wuerthheimer III who served as Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics Programs Branch Directorate Headquarters USAF Materiel Command during Desert Storm I and II. The last gifting from the military side occurred in 1992 when an occasion called "The Day After" was celebrated to honor retired Ulysses S. Grant Wood Jr., AEF ( Ret.) for his contributions to American Aviation! From this moment forward, it became customary for members of the military community to present gift items such as Humvees or prosthetic devices during these special occasions. Today's aerial delivery services are provided through helicopter transfers utilizing Sikorsky helicopters that have been donated by United Technologies Corporation Helicopter Division since 1988! This gift was followed up with another – an F4U Corsair II – on December 1st, 1951 when MASA bestowed upon NAS Fallon LtCol Don Atherton a USAAF Commemorative Silver Wings Citation for his leadership during aerial combat missions over North Vietnam during Operation Rolling Thunder III on January 15th–20th, 1952 On November 20th 1980 Major General Alan Wittenberg presented one of America’s newest bomber types – Boeing 727 passenger aircraft —to Master Sergeant Barry Kappenheimer who had responsibility for providing tanker support for C-130 Hercules flying mission against Iraq during Operation Desert Storm on February 14th 1991 In 1992 Lieutenant Colonel James Larkin presented one of America’s most advanced jet fighters – McDonnell Douglas MD-11 jetliner —to Master Sergeant Bob Burt who had been responsible for ground support operations aboard USS Enterprise during Carrier Strike Group 2 Combat Ready Cruise Mode flying mission off Okinawa on April 10th 1994
The Cathedral City, California area is known for its beautiful scenery and rich history. The city was founded in 1848 by a group of Mormon pioneers as the new home for the LDS Church. Today, Cathedral City is a popular tourist destination with attractions such as the Old Mission San Francisco de Asís and St. John’s Episcopal Cathedral. The city has also been called the “Gateway to the Bible Belt” because of its location close to several major religious destinations. The early settlers in this area werelanders from New York and Pennsylvania who had fled American Revolutionary War rules and persecution. They built a small settlement on a bluff overlooking the Sacramento River which they named Nauvoo after their leader, Joseph Smith, Jr. In 1847, Mormons moved from Nauvoo to what is now Cathedral City after winning approval from church leaders to build an independent Utah outpost here. In 1856, when California became stateshood, Cathedral City became part of Imperial County along with other settlements in northern California including Emeryville and Pleasanton. The first post office was established in 1857 in what is now Emeryville but soon lost importance as people increasingly traveled to nearby cities such as Oakland or San Francisco for businesses and services available only at those larger towns. By 1860, Orange County had been formed from parts of both Imperial and Contra Costa counties and so too did Alameda County which included Cathedral City until it was split into two counties in 1896 – one comprising Berkeley alone while the other included residential areas around Fremont Avenue east of downtown (Alameda). These changes brought about different economic fortunes for residents within each county but little change to local landscape; churches continued to be built where streets intersected town boundaries until well into the 20th century. After majority white Californians approved racial segregation during World War II accordingto Proposition 8 (a state proposition banning same-sex marriage), African Americans began moving into much of Northern California while many whites relocated southward into Southern California seeking jobs in wartime production plants or military service opportunities recruitable only there than again returned home after hostilities endedangers remained prevalent throughout most postwar decades until recent times due largely to increased Hispanic immigration although overall crime rates have decreased since 2000

In addition, much importance was given to early warning radar signals being sent from downtown Los Angeles through NSPA providing vital warning information during wartime. Today CathedralCity is one of America's smallest but most vibrant cities with a rich history that has been largely overshadowed by larger metropolitan areas such as Los Angeles or San Francisco However its unique architecture, quirky residents and vibrant cultural attractions make it an interesting place unto itself
The city of Cathedral City, California was founded on December 29, 1848 by James Fenton and his wife Mary. The town was named for the cathedral built in Rome, Italy which had been donated to the community by Fenton's father. The first post office in the town was established on December 31, 1848. By 1860, the population of Cathedral City had increased to over 100 residents. In 1865, a railroad station was erected in the town and it began receiving mail from Sacramento. In 1892, a large new church was erected in the town and it became one of the most popular churches in California. The town also experienced some growth within its borders as a result of new housing developments that were constructed around the time.
