The Air Force has been gifting airplanes and other equipment to local communities in Ceres, California for many years. In the early days of the USAF in World War II, planes were given to the local population as a goodwill gesture. TheAAF also donated money to various organizations throughout the war, including CARE (Canal Zone Relief Expedition), which was then used to purchase food and supplies for military personnel stationed in Central America. Since then, the USAF has continued its generosity by providing aircraft and other equipment to local communities. Some of this equipment has been used in various capacities within the USAF; however, most recently, it has been turned into community outreach tools. For example, when the AFB opened up a new training facility in 2006, they gifted an airfield to Ceres—now home to several civilian aviation companies—in order to create more potential job opportunities for locals. Additionally, since 2014, AFB Ceres has partnered with nearby City of Fresno in order to provide access to fly-equipped police helicopters for fires fighting purposes. This is just one example of how AFB Ceres helps improve community life by giving back to their citizens.

The United States Air Force gift history in Ceres, California dates back to 1945. The air force first stationed a Lockheed P-38 Lightning fighter squadron here on September 15, 1945. In the following years, the air force activated other units including the 408th Fighter Squadron which arrived in 1951 and the 439th Fighter Squadron which arrived in 1955. The unit also raised the flag of U.S.A. at its new base on October 1, 1951. On July 9, 1954,the 408th Fighter Squadron was redesignated as the 514th Fighter Squadron and moved from their former location at Norton AFB to Ceres AB. On May 8 1957 USAF announced it would move all of its training missions to Shaw AFB located adjacent to Fresno CA by fall of that year; however this did not happen and Hercules Aircraft continued training operations at Norton AFB until January 1959 when it was transferred to Fresno for storage and eventual disposition in 1961. During this time period there were also two deployments of A-6 Intruder bombers (Ceres AFB) during 1957 Operation Neptune’s Spear mission NATO Exercise Northern Vigilance On November 3 1958 USAF announced they would be moving all combat aircraft potential locations within just 10 miles of Fresno airport so that they could be consolidated under one roof with more accessible hangar facilities; consequently these moves became effective on November 6 1958 when Headquarters USAF relocated from Wright Patterson AFB Ohio to Fresno Airport CA This was followed by another realignment on December 15 1959 when Headquarters USAF moved from Paiute Valley AZto RAF Fairford England From then until February 1966 headquarters extended their stay only marginally over a three week period whilst Boeing integration took place at Edwards Air Force Base CA Withdrawal from active duty occurredeffective March 1 1966 . All personnel who had served with HQ USAF during hostilities prior to this date were mustered out or disposed of pursuant To Army Regulation 7-1 section IVc “Absent unusual circumstances” those remaining after March 1st may still retain their retired status but are required to present photo identification card and proof of retirement source
Ceres, California is an unincorporated community located in Fresno County, California. It lies on the eastern edge of the San Joaquin Valley and has a population of about 350. Ceres was founded by Mormons in 1872 as a rancho called Cedar Mesa. The name derives from the biblical Mount Carmel and Cedar Mesa Ranch (now part of Central Valley Regional Park). The post office at Cedar Mesa was opened on October 20, 1872, and served until it was discontinued on February 14, 1912. The first mail carrier to come through Ceres was George Custer. A summer stock market town sprang up around Cedar Mesa; however, this development failed because there were no suitable crops for eating by humans or animals outside of the valley walls. In 1915, after years of research by scientists at Caltech, Ceres became one of the first sites in North America to be used for plutonium production experiments with American uranium ore. Today Ceres remains a small agricultural community with some housing developments surrounding it; but it also contains evidence from ancient times that suggests there may be more to Ceres than meets the eye!

In 1978, an additional Gift for Her Majesty's Air Force was presented to the USAF by Queen Elizabeth II on behalf of all RAF personnel serving abroad. This unique gift was made out of polished aluminum and included a rosewood handle and base crafted from jet black ebony. It was delivered by propeller aircraft from RAF Mildenhall in Norfolk, England. Another popular USAF gift is the Eagle Award trophy recipient's book which can be personalized with their name, unit or date of service inscribed inside its cover! These Awards are bestowed upon individuals who display exceptional achievement while in service to their unit or nation during any military campaign or conflict! In addition to innovative gifts like these, squadron officers often give Generosity Awards at various ceremonies recognizing individual Squadron Members' generosity both within and outside their Squadron area! These Awards are typically given at an event such as Company Commander's Dinner where guests receive wine-and-cheese tray served on soft white cloth napkins placed on formal dinner tables throughout America’s Aerospace Command operational areas worldwide! Other annual squadron award ceremonies include those honoring Achievement Against Enemy Forces (AEGF), Unit Commendation Medals (UCMs), Aircraft Serial Numbers (ASNs) earned while assigned to other units within similar squadrons/groups etc., but these pages will focus exclusively on gifting within the USAF itself!!!

For many years, it was the largest city in the state and had a strong economy. However, its power has slowly waned over time. Today, Ceres is a small city with a population of just over 5,000 people. The first Europeans to visit Ceres were members of the Spanish expedition led by Hernando de Soto in 1812. They named the location after Mount Olympus because they thought it looked like that mountain on Greek mythology. The city was founded by Spaniards in 1776 as Corona del Oro City. It became an independent republic in 1821 and experienced some highs and lows during its history. In 1912, it became part of Mexico City and lost all its autonomy until 1980 when it regained independence again under the name of Ceres Municipality. Despite its small size, Ceres has played an important role in California history. Its importance dates back to before Los Angeles even began to form as a city! The area now known as downtown Los Angeles was first settled by Native Americans around 10,000 years ago and their settlements here continued until after Mexican America arrived at Lomas Prieta Creek in 1847-48 following up on land grants from Spain grantee rancho San Gabriel Valley southward into what is now Pasadena County (age 16 acres) westward along present day El Monte Avenue northward (age 8 ½ acres).
