In 1987, Air National Guard flights were added to the service. Today, the USAF provides global airspace security and support through its numerous component commands and units. The United States Air Force's (USAF) mission is "the professional military service that provides deterrence by killing enemies on land and in the sea, support of civil authorities, and helping our allies achieve victory against aggression." In 1957, when USAF began providing air-to-air refueling services to commercial airlines, it was through Aircrew Refueling Company (ARC) which was a joint venture between Boeing Corporation and Lockheed Aircraft Corporation. ARC would provide aerial refueling for both military aircraft operated by the USAF as well as civilian airport operators. The first such arrangement occurred with World War II veteran Harry Truman's Operation Crossroads which involved aerial refueling of American bombers en route from Japan to Los Angeles AFB. The USAF also undertookOperation El Dorado where tanker planes flew over Nicaragua drop supplies meant for leftist revolutionaries while they held negotiations with Sandino Moreno who had taken control of that country following his victory against Ulysses S Grant in 1879 at Battle of San Jacinto. 1st Lt Ernie Worthman served aboard a Lockheed L-7E2L Hercules during Operation Neptune's Spear which took place on Febuary 20th 1988 off Libyan coast; this was followed by operations Desert Storm on September 12th 1990 and Kosovo on October 13th 1999. These deployments were conducted under Title 10 USC § 3684 - Conduct of Military Operations outside continental United States/Canada etc.. Aerial refuelings continued until May 1997 when all combat sorties ended with last tanker plane departing Okinawa AB without incident being reported after 1 year having been operational; then KC-135 Stratotanker operations resumed beginning June 29th 1997 thru current day.. This continues because #19 Waco Aircrew Museum currently posses KC-135R Stratotanker serial number 1510...These operations are sometimes called 'Gift Flight' since many people have donated items or money for these missions including former Chief Operating Officer Dave Majestic who has given $100 000 towards restoration project originally started by retired Major Al Skinner...This paper will focus more specifically on McDonnell Douglas C-5 Galaxy Gift flight HN707UA which happened on December 5th 1998 from Luke AFB AZ via Ellington Field TX flying into Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport just before Christmas Eve during what is known as 'Christmas Delivery'. Aircrew Refueling Company (ARC) commenced operation from Boeing Corporation's Beechcraft DC-3A Flying Fortress at Oakland International Airport in California starting March 19th 1957 flying fuel primarily for military aircraft operating out of nearby Clark County airports including Menlo Park Municipal Airport (nowSanta Clara Valley Airport), San Francisco Municipal Airport (nowSan Francisco International Airport), Midway Island Naval Station (Island Naval Base), Black Forest Regional Medical Center & Clinic(nowMountain View Adventist Hospital), Vandenberg AFB & Edwards AFB combo plants located about 25 miles south west of Sacramento CA., Hawthorne Army Ammunition Plant outside Santa Ana CA., Kirtland AFB OH&WA RCA Communications Research Laboratory (& later Beech Model 1006 Canberra WA) & Wright Patterson AFB Ohio Test Site evaluating new projects related thereto jointly housed therewith within Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency category D/23 subprogram called Project Thor). Some members of ARC included First Lieutenant Ned Price commander #4 Squadron North Carolina Marine Corps Reserve based at Beaufort NC (#311 Wing RCAF MiG Alley unit)...After hostilities Ended we transitioned onto RCAs Marauder I from Tulare AF Jan 1959 thru Aug 1960 then again Marauder II Oct 1960 thru Apr 1961 then finally Cessna 172 BonanzaMSN#2714 flown Jan 1962 thru Nov 1963; these were all Navy model although designation may be different now.#2714 became NOS 7252C with same registration Dec 1966 when confiscated by FBI Glen Cooks @ Wright Patterson). On November 9th 2001 another McDonnell Douglas C5 Galaxy giftee arrived at Phoenix Sky HarborInternational Airport after experiencing engine failure shortly after taking off from Anchorage Alaska bound for Orlando Florida but making a successful landing eventually concluding up at Goodyear Arizona Ballpark where it played host to several aviation events throughout 2002 before being donated back home late2002.]

In 1941, the United States Air Force was formed as a result of the National Defense Act of 1940. The air force was composed of military and civilian components and its mission was to provide strategic bombing support for American allies in the war. In 1942, Captain Harry Fenton became director of research and development at McDonnell Aircraft Corporation. As part of his duties, he developed a new type of bomber known as the P-38 Lightning. The P-38 was quickly accepted by the USAAF and became one of America's most successful planes during World War II. Captain Fenton also played an important role in developing America's first jet aircraft, the Boeing 314A Jet Black. During World War II, Citrus Heights contributed many soldiers to America's armed forces. Manycitrus-hued uniforms were worn by American soldiers on battlefields around the world. Citrus Heights residents also donated food, clothing, gasoline and other supplies to various military campaigns throughout the war.
Citrus Heights is a small town in Orange County, California, United States. The population was 8,046 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Los Angeles metropolitan area. The first inhabitants of Citrus Heights were the Tongva people who lived onserveros and Mission Trails near what is now downtown Los Angeles. In 1847, American missionaries founded a mission in present-day Citrus Heights and named it Rancho San Gabriel after GeneralGabriel García Mejia who had helped lead the Mexican–American War. The mission was abandoned in 1852 when gold was discovered nearby. The town began to form around citrus production beginning in the early 1870s when John Sutter started growing oranges here. By 1909, Citrus Heights had a population of over 10,000 people and became an important center for citrus processing and marketing throughout Southern California. During World War II, Citrus Heights served as one of several military installations within Orange County and hosted various activities including ammunition storage facilities and aircraft maintenance yards In 1959, orange juice entrepreneur Don Schaeffer opened up his first retail store in what is now downtown Santa Ana; Schaeffer would go on to be one of America's most successful orange Juice entrepreneurs with stores across North America In 1984, Citrus Heights voters passed a Measure H providing for annexation by Anaheim which never happened because then-Governor Ronald Reagan vetoed it . However annexed territory includes much today's Downtown Santa Ana . It has been said that prohibition may have played a role in why certain areas of town remain largely white while other parts are more diverse; however no clear evidence exists to support this claim Citrullus hails from ancient Greece where they ate these fruits during their festival seasons

Citrus Heights is a small town in Inyo County, California, United States. The population was 1,711 at the 2010 census. It is located along Interstate 5 and State Route 190. The name "Citrus Heights" comes from two places: "Citrus Heights" near Fresno and "Hills", which were once part of the Rancho Anza Mexican land grant. The first settlers arrived around 1853 and named their new settlement after three of their friends who had accompanied them on their trip overland from San Francisco to Yuma County - A. J. Hill, Wm. Fenton, and Lewis Howat - all of whom had also come through Fresno on horseback during the Gold Rush era (1848-51). The community quickly grew up around its markets, schools, churches and general store (the only one in Citrus Heights until 1915), which became known as the "Citiesville". The hamlet enjoyed rapid growth during World War II when many citrus products were needed for military production; by 1945 it had a population of 3,046 residents. However, by 1950 Citrus Heights had shrunk to its original size due to rising costs associated with annexations by other nearby towns such as Fillmore and Northridge during that decade's post-war boom period; by 1970 it had fallen back below 1,000 residents again. However, in recent years Citrus Heights has experienced another resurgence thanks to its proximity to Yosemite National Park; since 2000 it has seen an increase in visitors due not just to the park's attractions but also because of developments such as a golf course adjacent to town center and new development projects going up around Highway 190 Just east of town limits that are intended to bring more jobs into town while providing access to Parque Nacional de Yosemite National Park - making Citrus Heights one of the most visited communities within easy reach of both Yosemite Valley AND Half Dome!
