The city has an estimated population of 805,883 as of 2017, making it the largest city in Orange County. The first coffee beans were roasted in 1847 by José Miguel Gomez on land near present-day Culver City. In 1892, the America Coffee Company was founded in Culver City by John D. Rockefeller and his brother Edwin E. Muskie with help from members of the Mormon church. The company grew rapidly throughout the 20th century until it merged with Jardine & Knight conglomerate in 1966 to become ABC Corporation. In 1998 ABC Corporation was purchased by KKR Incorporated for $4 billion and became KKR/ABC plc

However, citizens of both cities voted to rejoin together on December 15th of that year under the name of "CulVerCity". In 1967, Interstate 405 was constructed linking Los Angeles with Orange County through Culver City. This caused a large increase in traffic congestion within the city limits and led to many development projects being undertaken outside ofculVER CITY proper such as CenturyLink Field and Westchester Village which are now part of the world-famous Hollywood Hills neighbourhood. However, culVER CITY still experienced significant growth during this time; consequently, more housing developments were developed along Mulholland Drive close to Dodger Stadium and Staples Center than anywhere else within town limits (although much original housing remains). These days culVER CITY is home to some high-end shops such as Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus while also hosting numerous businesses related to entertainment industry including Warner Bros., Time Warner Entertainment Company's Turner Broadcasting System division (including TNT), Fox Sports 1/2/3/4 TV networks (including Fox Deportes) as well as various luxury hotels such as Bellagio Resort & Casino and MGM Grand Garden Arena; making it one of the most active downtown areas in North America. From its origins in small towns and villages throughout the United States, coffee has long been a popular drink enjoyed by residents and visitors alike. Over time, coffee became an important part of society, both as a beverage and an economic commodity. Today, coffee is considered one of the world's most precious commodities due to its unique flavor and health benefits. Coffee first began to be cultivated in the region that now includes Central America and South America. The indigenous people of these regions used different methods for roasting beans, but all agreed on how to make sure the beans were evenly roasted. They would place the beans in a small oven or fire before grinding them into flour. Coffee powder was then mixed with water to form a brew. The first Europeans to visit what is now Central America found cocoa trees growing there and decided to plant their own plantations instead of purchasing coffee from local tribesmen. By 1492, Spanish sailors had discovered Nicaragua and Honduras while searching for new lands to explore during their journey around the world sponsored by Christopher Columbus. With this discovery came new opportunities for trade with Native Americans who learned about sugarcane from Spain while they were still trading goods back home. Cocoa trees were soon being planted along those coasts where Spanish ships stopped for supplies en route to their new expeditions across the Atlantic Ocean (See: "Spanish Empire at Its Height"). In 1502, Pedro de Valdivia made his way through Mexico City on his way northward towards Peru when he happened upon a group of natives playing cards nears an abandoned village called Tlatelolco Castle which was later known as Montero Hill (See: Pedro de Valdivia). Valdivia remarked upon their beautiful architecture which he took down with him so he could build his own palace inside it (See: "Valdivia Expands Mexican Empire"). This early expedition led by De Valdivia helped open up what are now parts of South American countries such as Chile, Paraguay, Argentina, Uruguay etc., that had never been explored before including Brazil which became known as Portuguese territory after 10 years of war between Portugal and Spain over control of that area (See: Portuguese Discovery Of Brazil). Soon after arriving in Latin America, Ferdinand Magellan sailed eastward in search of new routes across Asia & Europe reaching Japan by late 1521 using charts drawn up by Amerigo Vespucci who also visited China (& Painting). After landing at Chuuk Island off Sulawesi on Dec 12th 1522 just northwest side Philippines & naming it Magellan Land after Spaniard explorer who landed there 2 years earlier – Magellan achieved circumnavigation world map & reached Japanese Mainland In 1602 Englishman John Hawkins discovered Juan Fernández Islands chain consisting 13 Isles/Island groups including Gilbert Islands group 3 miles wide central plateau surrounded by Group 2 coral reefs- Islas Malvinas today-Hawkins named these islands Falklands because 1) He saw no landmass connecting them other than very high clouds; And 2) He sighted no landmass whatsoever within 800 miles [ simulator results ] . French claimed these islands under Louis XIV following maps drawings done during 1605 Expedition led by René Descartes aboard ship La Cordonnerie After discovering New Zealand via sailing trip led by Captain James Cook on HMS Endeavour in 1770–71 , British Admiralty commissioned settle Macquarie island group including Nowra River valley which lay near headwaters Papua Rivers main branch flowing east then northeast into Torres Strait( See: Captain Cook’s First Voyage To Australia ). These islands formed part Australian mainland until1975 when they were annexed into Papua New Guinea As coffee became more expensive due to rising prices for silver coins used in international transactions (see grains), other crops like cacao started becoming more important as resources grew scarce nearer neighbors such as Peru where coca bushes grow abundantly . At various points over many centuries different areas have produced different types or grades of ground coffees . One major center for Roasted Coffee production moved from Africa towards Southeast Asia starting about 1860 because Java SeaRoasters could not find suitable Burnt Coast lands near Sumatra or Borneo where Roasting took place under Dutch rule prior [ see picture below ]; see also " Indonesian Coffee Industry" ].
