In 1925, Martinez's son, Adolfo Martinez opened the second largest coffee bean plantation in California. This plant was located in an area that is now known as North Cypress Gardens. Maga Coffee began to be exported to other parts of the United States in the early 1960s. The company became a major player in the coffee industry and continues to produce high-quality beans today.

Cypress is a city in Los Angeles County, California, United States. The population was 362,485 at the 2010 census. Cypress is located on the eastern edge of the city of Los Angeles and shares borders with Pasadena to its north and northeast, Vernon to its east, and Sylmar to its south. The area around Cypress has been inhabited since pre-historic times. A part of Rancho Santiago de la Cienega Mexican land grant in 1835, it formed part of what would become Los Angeles County as a result of the 1848 Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo. The first permanent settler in Cypress was J.S. Butler who arrived around1878 from Illinois and named his property Butler Heights after himself and his brother John Swayne (later mayor of Los Angeles). Homebuilders such as Wm. Matson started building homes in what would eventually become known as Cypress about 1915 when there were only 7 or 8 houses in the entire city limits! In 1916 Master plumber James Pinter moved from New York City to start his own plumbing business here which became one of Orange County's most successful businesses for many years until he retired in 1984! From 1920 through 1924 Mr. Kappel served as Mayor pro tempore (a ceremonial post) while serving concurrently as Chairman of both the Boardwalk Company Incorporated and Southern Pacific Railroad Trustees’ Meeting; later he served two terms consecutively without interruption until his death on February 15th, 1982 due to a long illness that had finally broken out two weeks earlier following an almost eight year battle with leukemia! Eugene O'Neill attended one term during this time but left before taking office because he did not like some aspects about how things were going! After leaving office Mr. O'Neill went back into politics becoming Municipal President (head executive officer) from 1966-1970 then again from 1978-1982; he also chaired various civic organizations including being Vice Chairman for Parks & Recreation for three terms up until his death on October 3rd, 1992 after a long illness caused by Hodgkin's lymphoma! After Mr. O'Neill's death numerous high profile residents established themselves within Cypress over ensuing decades including former Governor George Deukmejian (who lived across the street from Mrs. Kappel), Hollywood movie star Shirley Temple Black (!), author Beverly Cleary (& her husband Dean Koontz!), attorney Roy Cohn (!), Founder/President/CEO/Chief Creative Officer Time Warner Entertainment Co., Rick Riordan (& several friends!), Edward Asner (& wife Dana Farber!), Neil Patrick Harris (!), among others... Today there are more than 350 businesses operating within Cypresses boundaries alone! It truly is "the untamed heartland". And so it goes… . . . .

One of the first places where maga coffee was grown was in Acre, Brazil. In 1824, Brazilian cacao beans were exported to Spain and Portugal for shipment to Europe. There, they were ground into coffee powder and used as a popular drink throughout the rest of Europe. Eventually, Spanish traders discovered maga coffee in Java and started trading with it. By 1830, many Indonesian farmers had started growing this particular bean because it yielded a high-quality crop. Jakarta became the world’s center for maga coffee production in 1856 when Portuguese traders arrived in Indonesia to trade with the native population. Over time, different regions began producing their own variations of this type of coffee. In 1886, Dutch colonists invaded Java and began cultivating maga beans there. This led to an increase in production because Dutch traders were now able to purchase more beans from Indonesian farmers at lower prices than they could from other markets. By 1909, all of Java had been colonized by European countries except Indonesia; however, some Indonesians continued to grow maga Coffee until 1945 when it was finally banned due to its suspected addictive qualities. Today, The Netherlands continues to dominates international production of this type of coffee because it has been found that its beans are best suited for making quality cupcakes or desserts rather than brewing traditional espresso beverages like java or americano

Cypress is a city in the Central California region of the United States. Cypress was founded in 1849 by members of the Mission San Gabriel Arcangelico, who named it for the Cypress tree that grew near their mission. The city's current boundaries were set in 1912 when parts of Riverside County and Kern County were merged into Los Angeles County. The early history of Cypress can be traced back to October 3, 1849, when settlers from the Mission San Gabriel Arcangelico arrived at what is now known as College Park. Named for a small tree that grew near their mission, they began construction on a small fortification called Fort Yuma. In less than two weeks, they had erected a wooden fence around their new settlement and renamed it Fort Worth. They continued to buildFort Yuma until December 8, 1851, when Mexican forces under General Antonio López de Santa Anna attacked them and took all but four of the colonists with them into Mexico. The Mexicans left behind a town full of people who had built their homes from logs or huts made from Juniperus sabdariffa trees that grew along the missions' walls. When news reached Mexico City about this event, President Manuel Micheltorena ordered his army to attack Coypres without warning its residents. A force led by Colonel José Joaquín Cámpora invaded Coypres on October 3rd and captured most of its inhabitants before returning home just in time to avoid an uprising by the localiciados (or citizens). The remaining few defenders managed to flee back home before Mexican forces could arrive. This event is generally considered to be one of the first battles between American settlers against Mexican forces in what would become California. Aftermath: For over 20 years no one knows exactly how many people died during this battle; estimates range anywhere from five up to sixty-five%. However, because there are no records dating back further than 1850s we cannot say definitively how many actual human beings perished during this skirmish between Americans and Mexicans
