The United States Air Force deployed a gift history in East Palo Alto, California on Sunday. The deployment was part of the Forces Reassignment and Readiness Center's (FRC) Gifts for Warriors program, which helps send resources and support to military families stationed in California. Air Force Brigadier General Michael J. Sims said the gifts were collected from local businesses and organizations and delivered to the FRC's office in San Francisco.
East Palo Alto, California is a city located in Silicon Valley in the San Francisco Bay Area of Northern California. As of 2010, its population was 106,821. It is the most populous city east of the Mississippi River and has consistently been one of Silicon Valley's leading economic and technological centers. The city is home to several high-tech firms such as Apple Inc., Google LLC, Facebook Inc., Adobe Systems Incorporated, Intel Corporation and others. East Palo Alto was first settled by American Indians in 1847 and served as their interim mission until 1849 when they were moved to nearby Menlo Park. In 1870, East Palo Alto became part of Santa Clara County when it was established as a borough. At the time it had a population of just 10 people. However, over time its growth continued at an exponential rate due to its location within walking distance of Stanford University and other prominent institutions including Oracle Technologies Co., Hewlett-Packard Company and SAP AG (Swiss Post). In 1947, East Palo Alto incorporated as a city with a population of 100,000 people after winning the bid for inclusion in the newly created Silicon Valley metropolitan area which consisted of San Jose (the largest city in707), Fremont (northwest Orange County), Hayward (southwest Contra Costa County) and Santa Clara (southeast San Mateo County). The following year saw major growth when East Palo Alto annexed neighboring unincorporated areas including Crocker Heights/Langley Village/Palo Alto Ridge/Mountain View Farms/Atherton Hills/ Pacific Grove totaling about 50 square miles which made up what is now known as East Palo Alto Township. By 1970 the population had reached 260,000 people with steady suburban growth continuing until 2000 when downtown eastside gentrification characterized by high-end housing development led to large increases in crime rates throughout much of the district which has since reversed into traditional mixed use neighborhoods characterized by moderate levels of crime
The United States Air Force deployed a gift history in support of the Christmas season. The event, which took place at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland, was an annual tradition that included visiting families and giving gifts to them. This year, the service decided to include a element of humor into the celebration by sending a team of airmen dressed as Santas to deliver presents to family members. This year’s version of the gifting event was different, however.Instead of just handing out presents, the airmen became involved in the festivities by performing caroling and singing festive songs on Christmas day. It was an engaging way for them to spread cheer and thanked their families for all they do for America. In addition to their charitable act, these soldiers also brought joy to people who were unable to celebrate Christmas with family or friends due to military duty. They made everyone feel special and appreciated during this difficult time. Whether it was providing companionship or simply making someone smile, these servicemen are truly heroes on behalf of our country.

East Palo Alto is a town in Alameda County, California, United States. The population was 26,895 at the 2010 census. It lies on the east side of San Francisco Bay and is part of the San Francisco–Oakland–Hayward Metropolitan Statistical Area. East Palo Alto is one of Silicon Valley's oldest communities and has been its most influential since its incorporation as a city in 1885. The early history of East Palo Alto can be traced back to 1853 when James Hargrave donated land to the town for development. In 1865, John Prentice became the first person to reside in East Palo Alto when he moved from Santa Clara County. In 1870, Edwin Sperry purchased some acreage near what is now Dunlop Street for $1,000. Sperry developed what became known as "Sperryville" which grew rapidly due to his invention of an artificial turfgrass called Crystal Reports which made it easy to produce reports that could be used by businesses and entrepreneurs. By 1887, over 60 businesses were located in Sperryville with over $100,000 worth of business activity going on daily. In 1906, three brothers founded Google Inc., one of whom was Larry Page who would later become co-founder and CEO of Google Mountain View LLC.. From there until 1965 not much changed other thanGoogle expanding their headquarters westward into East Palo Alto until they vacated them due to space constraints 10 years later in 1995; however during this time period many notable people such as Sergey Brin (later founder and CEO of Google) lived and worked here including president Ronald Reagan's daughter Nancy Reagan who attended Stanford University here while her father was President before she became First Lady after he left office in 1981). also during this time period many high-tech companies like Intel Corporation set up shop here including chairman Andy Grove who helped lead Intel into being one of America’s leading technology companies according to Forbes Magazine Today East Palo Alto continues To Be An Influential Place For Technology With Many High tech Companies Located Here Including Apple Incorporated And Facebook Itself
In 1853, East Palo Alto was founded as a small town on the edge of Palo Alto Bay by Captain George Atwater and his family. The first post office was established in 1857. In 1865, East Palo Alto became part of the new city of Palo Alto. In 1870, an agricultural society was formed in East Palo Alto to improve the local economy. In 1874, Wm Fenton donated land to the city for a public library. The first building, which still stands today, was built on this site. In 1886, East Palo Alto voted to annex what is now Stanford University because it felt that the university's location made it too important to remain independent. The annexation led to some tension between Stanford and East Palo Alto over religious and social issues. In 1906, Forbes magazine ranked East Palo Alto as one of America's " smartest" cities and contributed $5,000 for its renovation program within the city limits. After World War II ended in 1945, many Japanese Americans were forced from their homes during the war-time relocation process known as internment camps throughout California and other states across America. Many people inEast Palo Alto felt that they had been wronged by this policy and wanted revenge or retribution against those who had perpetrated it. This anger eventually boiled over into organized crime activity around these camps throughout postwar America-a problem that would continue up until recently (see also: Santa Clara County).
