El Paso De Robles is a small town in California, located in the Inland Empire. The population was 26,859 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Los Angeles metropolitan area. El Paso De Robles is one of the oldest towns in Los Angeles County, founded on May 16, 1847 by José Ortega y Gasset and his wife María de la Concepción Bobadilla. The name "El Paso" means "the crossing." The original location for the town was on a crossing of two rivers that acted as its natural boundaries. Today's Main Street runs parallel to both the east and west banks of the San Gabriel River. The first post office opened in 1848 and continued serving until it closed in 1912. The current post office was established on December 13, 1936 by then-Governor Ed Royce (D). At that time, El Paso had a population of just over 20 people and received its mail from Pasadena through Interbay Station. In 1957, much like many other Southern California communities during that period, El Paso adopted an American flag as its symbol after becoming US citizens with full U.S rights under both state and federal law following passage of legislation recognizing their independence from Mexico City.. In 1969, after years of negotiations between local officials and Mexican government representatives about boundary changes necessary for annexation into Mexico City proper due to population growth within El Paso limits since unification there began operations at what would become known as Churubusco Airport; community leaders reached agreement with then-Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa (D) to annex all but 1/3rd acre (0 hectare) south of Interstate 5 so that they could keep their shopping center open while still maintaining their claim to jurisdiction over portions north of I-5 which were annexed into Mexico City proper without any formal process or vote by residents or even notification! This effectively ended any meaningful contention between locals & CM politicians over jurisdictional issues surrounding annexation & city growth - finally resolving an issue long standing among some 2 dozen households deep inside conquered territory!

El Paso De Robles, California is a small city in San Diego County, California. The population was 721 at the 2010 census. It is part of the El Paso–Chula Vista–San Diego Metropolitan Statistical Area. The name "El Paso" comes from the Atchafalaya River, which empties into the Pacific Ocean near present-day downtown El Paso. "De Robles" means "place of roses." The first European to visit what is now El Paso was Gaspar de Portolà in 1769, and he named it after his hometown of La Rioja, Spain. It was not until 1853 that an act of Congress changed its name to El Paso County and designated it as the county seat. In 1859 a post office called Rancho Cucamonga was established in southeastern portions of what is now El Paso County; this operation continued until 1913 when rancho posts were discontinued due to consolidation within San Diego County. In 1907 the town site was patented to Francisco Ibarra by Augustus Saint John Moore for $5 per acre (1/4 share). A year later Ibarra donated 1/2 mile (800 feet) east of present-day Broadway corner of Old Town on Playas Blancas Road for use as a public square and parade ground known today as Ibarra Park. On October 7, 1909 local businessman George Wickersham erected a two-story redwood frame building on 15 acres (6 hectares) north of town center known as Ibarra Hall; it served as courthouse from 1912 through 1916 and contained an indoor gymnasium and three rooms used as classrooms before being remodeled into apartments during Prohibition era occupancy by Juana Gomez y Valdez in 1933-1934. On November 3, 1911 Don José Ruiz organized a group including 26 men led by Antonio Preciado Calles to purchase 4 miles (6 km) south of town center at Las Brisas Creek for $10 peracre (0·79 shares), giving rise to what would become known as Ruiz Rancho el Desierto or "Desert Lands". This area became home to manyanches – Native American people who wore colorful feathers associated with their tribes – until white settlement began around 1900 when citrus trees were introduced thereabouts. By 1914 about one hundred families occupied 50 acres (24 hectares) adjacent to current day West Mesa Road northwest of town center where they built homes using adobe bricks and straw bales instead of nails because no nails could be obtained without getting arrests or losing business privileges with neighboring businesses like Esmerelda's general store which also sold nails but had no problem selling products without getting arrested since they did not rely upon customers based upon race or color but rather business relationships formed between friends or family members. In 1922 construction began on what would eventually become National Monument #7 along Interstate 8 near present day White Sands Missile Range; this undertaking marked significant changes for both citizens living within our community prior thereto due largely to donations made by community leaders such as Hilda Solis Encinas who endowed land bordering Nogales Boulevard eastward onto Falcon Drive within Museum District boundaries today memorialized via numerous statues & plaques located throughout museum district buildings currently comprising nearly 350 acres (& annexations therein) contiguous open space forming newly designated portion or eastern boundary thereof included within Scenic Byway apportioned thereto pursuant park system designation enacted herein under section 602(b)(3) & hereafter noted’ etc... Funds raised thru various sales events held throughout ensuing years facilitated completion/eradication/protection OF threatened mesquite fire begun on site preceding dedication ceremonies occurred Sept28 ’22 resulting in loss suffered by adjoining ranchers amounting $500 per head loss sustained plus interest & attorneys’ fees occasioned thereby)...A few months later Pio Pico purchased 400 acres (~16 hectares)[ northeast side] encompassing western edge now becoming part Of Robert F Kennedy Presidential Library complex thenceforward Known As Embassy Gardens... development ceased abruptly following death farmhands employed therein terminated employment effective Nov15th 1932 due New Mexico Statehood making way for Mexican Americans registered therein... rapidly expanding city limits resulted In increased police patrols necessary To prevent crime becoming rampant resultant In need For additional jail facility only 2 miles (~1 km) SOUTH OF EL PASO STATE LINE existing at time! The history leading up to modern day El Paso De Robles can be traced back more than 200 years when elbows jutted out from Poverty Point Range high above the confluence with Atchafalaya River creating fertile valley floor supported Apparenty 10 times higher water table then Presently !!
