In 1892, two Italians named Angelo Montini and Giovanni Cesare Benedetto Negrone founded what would eventually become known as Angelo Montini Coffee Company. The company began production of roasted coffee beans on a small scale in their home town of Salinas. In 1922, they opened their first shop outside of Salinas. Montini & Negrone built one of the largest coffee roasters in North America during this time period. They roamed throughout California until 1949 when they settled in Encinitas with their son Salvatore Montini Jr. Salvatore Montini Sr.'s death (in 1976) left an important void at the company that was filled by his son Salvatore Montini III who served as president from 1984-1988 and then CEO from 1988-1994 before becoming chairman emeritus in 1994. It wasn't until 2005 that Salvatore Montini III passed away after a long battle with leukemia which made him one of the longest living CEOs ever at AngeloMontinisCOFFEE company). He was succeeded by his grandson Paolo Montini who currently serves as President and CEO The current owners are brothers Pino and Pietro Montini with Pietro serving as COO since 2007

Encinitas ( pronounced "en-kuh-tin-uh") is a city in San Diego County, California, United States. The population was 37,717 at the 2010 census. It is part of the San Diego–Tijuana metropolitan area. The first known inhabitants of Encinitas were Native Americans who hunted and gathered watercress and other plants near what is now downtown Encinitas. They may have been the ancestors of present day Mission Indians. In 1542, Spanish Captain José de Soto discovered land that would become Encinitas when he sailed into Baja California on his exploratory mission. He named the area Santa Ysabelle (meaning "Holy Isabelle"). In 1853, Mexican farmers arrived in response to a call for help by American settlers defending their rights to Rancho Rinconada against elements of Mexico's Army during the Alta California Gold Rush. They began cultivating corn, beans, and potatoes on land that would later be known as Rancho San Rafael; however, they did not establish any villages or houses until after 1854 when they built several smallacks on Punta del Este beachfront for themselves and their families. A post office called Encinitas was established in 1875; it was renamed by act of Congress in 1907 following an annexation by Los Angeles County which had occurred two years earlier. The city's current name comes from a 1915 merger between two adjacent parcels of land: one including much of what is now downtownEncinitas and another extending eastward to include most of Pacific Beach – both tracts having been annexed by Los Angeles County shortly before the merge). There are many different types of gourmet coffee, but two of the most popular types are Arabica and Robusta. Arabica beans are from Africa, while Robusta beans come from Italy. The first gourmet coffee was created by Bruno Boulanger in 1809. Boulanger believed that good coffee could only be made with fresh, roasted beans. He created his own methods for roasting andprocessing his coffee, which gave him a unique flavor and aroma. Over time, other people began to create their own versions of gourmet coffee. In 1912, Swiss brewer Jean Pascal Cupperer came up with the first French press Coffee machine. This machine used an automatic filter system to ensure that all the brewing water was drawn down into the pot quickly so that only pure ground coffee was used in each cup. This allowed Cupperer to produce very smooth cups of espresso without any bitterness or acidity
Coffee was first introduced to Europe in the early sixteenth century by Portuguese traders. The coffee that grew in Africa, Arabia and Latin America was not as robust or flavorful as the beans used for making espresso in Italy and Spain. In 1624, Dutch traders discovered Java, a island off Indonesia, and began trading with its native people for coffee. Java became the center of world coffee trade because of its rich soil and excellent quality beans. The Dutch also developed methods of milling coffee so that it could be roasted more evenly than what was being produced in India and other parts of Asia. In 1652, Martin Waldseemüller brought back plants from Sumatra to Schönbrunn Palace in Vienna, Austria to begin growing coffee on his estates there.
Encinitas has a rich history dating back to the days when it was just a small farming community. The first Europeans to visit Encinitas were Spanish traders in the early 1800s, and they named the place San Diego de Alcantara after Alcantara, Spain. Over time, Encinitas grew into a village with over 100 residents. In 1854, local landowner Manuel Michelin bought some of the present-day city of Encinitas from pioneer Juan Bautista Alvarado. Michelin quickly began to develop his holdings by creating plantations and other businesses in Encinitas. He also built many of the earliest buildings in what is now downtown Encinitas. Over time, Michelin became one of Santa Clara County's most influential citizens and he contributed greatly to the development ofencino County as well as Santa Clara Valley. In 1916, he donated land for what is now West Campus at UC Berkeley. Today, West Campus is home to many famous universities including UC Irvine and UCLA. After World War II ended,ENCINITAS experienced rapid growth as people left for jobs in California's booming postwar economy. Many new homes were built onaristocratic street grid that still remains today - much like our town square today! From 1950-1970sEncinita experienced rapid population growth due largely to its proximity to Palo Alto and Menlo Park; however this prosperity came at a high price with environmental destruction caused by widespread automobile use and housing developments that competed for limited space with natural attractions such as mountains and beaches
The Encinitas region of Southern California was first inhabited by the Ohlone people in the late 4th century. The area now includes the city of San Diego and portions ofijuana, Baja California, and Los Angeles counties. In 1821, Mexico won its independence from Spain and formed a new nation, called Mexican America. At this time, San Diego County was part of what is now Orange County. The original mission in San Diego County was founded in 1769 as Mission Dolores (now Mission Hills). The following year, land north of the Mission began to be sold off to ranching interests. On December 12, 1853, a party led by James Wolkentin arrived at Rancho del Cucamonga on what is now Interstate 805. They were looking for land for a military post that would protect against Comanche attacks during the American Civil War. The Wolkentin party also discovered oil reserves near present-day Encinitas Boulevard and North Coast Highway in Imperial Valley; they decided to sell the rights to this oil to an entrepreneur named George Sibley. In 1876–77, Anthony Ingraham developed a saltpeter mine at Escondido which became one of the most important businesses in Northern California during that time period. In 1911–12 construction began on Camp Grant Army Air Field which served as home base for World War I fighter pilots from nearby Edwards Air Force Base before it became an airfield used by both Axis forces and American troops during World War II. After World War II ended, Camp Grant AFB was closed down and used for storage until it was demolished in 1984. In 1952–1953 housing developments started up around Chula Vista Boulevard including Pacific Palisades Gardens with its own beach front property whileEncinitas Drive continued as an open road leading into town along Encinitas Bayou which provided access to beaches throughout much of southern California
