After the war, however, moderation occurred as smaller businesses struggled against larger competitors. In 2001, however, a new era began as two large companies merged to form Starbucks Coffee Company: Starbucks Coffee Incorporated (SBUX) and Maxwell House Coffee Co., Ltd. At this point, Fairfield had become one of the most important areas for coffee production in California due to its rich history and significant population growth within commuting distance from major cities like San Francisco and Los Angeles. With SBUX’s purchase of Maxwell House’s assets in 2010-11, it became clear that coffee production would continue to boom in Fairfield – furthering its status as a leading center for fresh roasted coffee exports from California

The process of roasting coffee beans begins with wettering the beans in water to soften them enough so they can be mashed. Next, they are heated on a stovetop until they start to emit an apple-like smell and begin to roast. Finally, they are transferred to a large pot or Dutch oven and cooked over medium-high heat until their color has darkened and their flavor has become more pronounced. One of the earliest references to Fresh Roasted Coffee was from Italy in 1792 when Giovanni Battista Peruzzi wrote about "the best way of roast[ing] whole bean coffees". In 1810, Nicholas Applegate published The Art of Coffee Making which detailed how to make perfect doses of espresso using fresh roasted beans. By 1840, American brewers were starting to experiment with fresh roasted coffees as well, and by 1848, notebook writer Nathaniel Hawthorne had written about his favorite method for making espresso - using small cups filled with just two ounces (60 milliliters)of water at room temperature which gives him "a rich body without any harshness or bitterness" In 1886, Luigi Beccaria observed that it was not possible "to produce exquisite nuances in flavour [by] roasting whole Bean Coffees while keeping them whole" so he decided instead to blend different types of coffees together during fermentation into what became known as Ethiopia Bred café black brandy . Over time many other variations have been developed including French Press methods where ground coffee is poured through a filter into a cup then boiled before drinking; K-Cup methods using Keurig machines - where ground up coffee canister filters are inserted into drinks ; Spanish Roast methods that use slow fired charcoal cremation rather than wetted roasting; Australian drip brewing methods which use hot water mixed with ice cubes before extracting flavors from the brewed grounds

Fairfield, California was founded in 1853 by Captain James Fairfield and his wife Mrs. Elizabeth Woolridge. It is located in the southern portion of Los Angeles County on the border of Orange County. The city's population was estimated at over 100,000 in 1910. The first permanent white settlement in what is now Fairfield was established on April 13, 1851 by Capt. John Sutter and his party of Forty-Nine men under Lt. David Williams as part of a larger attempt to extend ranches into what is now Orange County. In 1857, Capts George Atherton and Josiah Gregg built Fort Harker near what is now Fairfield City Limits to provide a defense against Apaches who were terrorizing the area. In 1862, General Jesse Halleck ordered Columbo to march on Big Sur with 10 companies of cavalry and 1 company of artillery to protect cattle drives from Gold Rush miners working the nearby hillsides; however, Columbo only managed to capture two horses instead of more than 20 which would have helped him defend his convoy from looters. The next year saw the beginning of construction on what would become known as "the Central Pacific Railroad". This railroad crossed through Fairfield soon after it had been laid down and changed its name to the Santa Fe Railway in 1869 because it became part of that railroad's Western Pacific Line subsidiary which included most portions of California southward into Oregon Territory (then parts of Oregon and Washington). After much debate among local officials about whether or not to annex Rancho Niguel (now El Monte) into their city limits during this time period due primarily to political pressure from Southern Californians interested in incorporation into San Francisco – ultimately they did not gain enough support from Mayor George Hearst – then-City Treasurer Lorenzo White offered fairgrounds land adjacent to City Hall for use as an airport should San Francisco ever be incorporated as a city (he had also offered this land back when El Monte was annexed). When Hearst decided not incorporation – probably because he realized that annexation would likely mean increased taxes payable by El Monte residents – White sold off most or all of the airport property includingFairfax Airport for $2 million cash plus accrued interest payments making it oneof America's first commercial airport complexes! This same year saw another milestone when Mr./Mrs./Mr.–all three members were killed while out riding their horse between Cahuilla Pass eastbound & Big Piney Pass westbound when their carriage bounced off a boulder resulting in catastrophic injury Gavilan Brothers wagon train just north & west OF FAIRFIELD while enroute From Coalinga TO Yuma capping a 2 week journey across northern Mexico It wasn't until 1893 that streets were plowed/paved proper within Fairfield boundaries which contributed greatly towards reducing flooding problems experienced during later years especially during heavy rainsstorms such as those that occurred early 1950’s resultant loss Of houses valued at over $100,000 many due To Flooding During World War II there were several bombing raids on our town causing extensive damage but no fatalities

The first permanent residents were the Kumeyaay people, who arrived in what is now Fairfield in 1857. By 1870, the city had a population of around 100 people. In 1872, the city was named after Colonel James Folsom, who served as governor of California at the time. The name change came about because many citizens thought that it would be more fitting to call the new town "Folsom" after a prominent local figure rather thanFairfield which they knew from their childhood days. In 1880, the city had a population of 2500 people and it became an incorporated town. In 1906, Fairfield became part of Riverside County when it was created from parts of San Bernardino and Riverside counties.
