Farmersville is a small town in Santa Clara County, California, United States. The population was 5,974 at the 2010 census. Farmersville was founded in 1887 by Mesquite Dickenson and his brother-in-law Ezra Cornell as a small agricultural outpost on land that would become part of Stanford University. In 1907, John Fenton donated land to make way for a high school; Farmersville High School reopened in 1909. In 1924, the name change to Stanford University College Preparatory School; it changed again to Stanford University High School in 1969. A second rancho—Rancho Rincon de las Pulgas Viejas—was acquired southeast of present day Palo Alto during RanchoSanta Clara Association Land Grant Period 1879–1889 by Manuel Sanchez and sold to José Joaquin Almagro II alias Moreno; this last rancho adjoined Rancho Arenal y Luna about northeast corner los Altos during early 19th century AD when they formed part of large Rinconada cattle drive led annually by Mexican Governor Padre Antonio Romo from Monterey Bay Area into central California via Isthmus between San Francisco Bay Area and Silicon Valley – one such visit being made April 15th 1853 duringMexican Independence War under Captain Joaquínbal Moraga Since then farming has continued unabated with many families raising their livestock along with vegetables, fruits and other items grown on larger farms throughout most parts US & Canada

In 1830, John Cook bought land from the original settlers and started a farm of his own. By 1840, there were six farmers in Farmersville. By 1850, there were twelve farmers in Farmersville. By 1860, there were twenty-four farmers in FarmerVILLE. In 1876, Isaac Rice became the first postmaster for Farmersville. In 1915, Mrs. Hilda Compton founded the Mothers Club ofFarmersville to help promote agriculture among womenfolk across America. The first grocery store was opened by Ethel Laughlin in 1922 on Main Street in Farmersville. It was called “The Grapes” because it sold grapes that had been picked by hand). The store continued to operate until it closed its doors in 1984 after sixty-six years of business operation!
