In 1847, the Dutch East Indies Company established the world’s first commercial coffee plantation in Java. Coffee was introduced to America with traders and travelers during the early 1800s. One of the first American coffeehouses was founded in 1795 in New York City by Nicholas-Jacques Conte. After traveling to many countries, including Brazil and Spain, Timón de Silva heard about what they called “the great Java plantation” and decided to set up his own plantation there in 1799. From this point on, coffee became an important part of American culture. The popularity of coffee began to decline during World War II because of shortages caused by the war effort. However, after the war ended, coffee regained its popularity as a social beverage throughout most of America. In 1957, Starbucks opened their first store in Seattle – one of the first open-air stores in North America. This gave rise to a new era for coffee where people could enjoy their favorite drink at any timeof day or place imaginable. Today, Starbucks continues to be one of America’s most popular businesses and is headquartered at 6th Avenue and Pike Street in Seattle – just blocks from Pioneer Square – where it has always been loved for its rich flavor profile and amazing texture!

Fontana is a city located in San Bernardino County, California. The population was 78,752 at the 2010 census. At first founded as an agricultural community in 1887 by Rancho Fontana Mexican landowner Manuel Nieto and his wife Mercedes, the town grew rapidly with its nearby county seat of Banning becoming a popular tourist destination. In 1933, Mayor George Guthrie persuaded the City Council to annexahorse country adjacent to Fontana for public use and named it Fontana Heights. However, annexation failed to bring about economic development and in 1938 Fontana was again divided into two towns - Banning and North Fontana - when Banning annexed North Fontana. The city's name derives from the "fontane" stream that runs through it. The downtown area of Fontana is home to several large shopping centers and restaurants as well as numerous businesses serving the local government and residents. The east side of town contains smaller shopping malls while the west side has more residential homes. There are also a few small golf courses scattered throughout the city limits. Fontana is located on Interstate 10 just north of San Bernardino County line on exchanges with Riverside County (south) and Orange County (north). I-10 skirts most of downtown before entering into rural areas east of Lake Arrowhead where I-15 joins it southbound near Arroyo Seco Reservoirs National Monument. Most visitors enter or exit I-10 from this interchange then drive eastward through agricultural regions until they reach downtown which can be accessed along streets running northeast/southwest out of I-10 such as Bowman Road, Alameda Boulevard, Elk Grove Road, etc., or via freeways headed south including Interstate 15 (Green Valley Parkway), State Route 190 (Banning Avenue), State Route 22 (Alamo Street), State Route 614 (Ontario Avenue)

This event is considered to be the beginning of European coffee culture. In 1893, Roasted Bean Company was founded in New York City by John Davenport and Frank Griggs as a way to provide high-quality coffee at an affordable pricepoint for consumers. The company remained operational until its sale in 1966. At its peak, Roasted Bean Company produced over 1 million metric tons of roasted beans per year. Today, Roasted Bean Company produces only 350 metric tons per year due to environmental concerns. Coffee has since become an integral part of many cultures around the world and continues to be popular among individuals and businesses alike!

Fontana is a small city in Kern County, California, United States. The population was 7,421 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Fontana–Arden–Arcade, CA Metropolitan Statistical Area. A post-office called Fontana was established in 1887 and has been in operation since 1892. The community began as a small farming village on the banks of the San Gabriel River and grew to become one of Southern California's largest citrus-producing regions during the 1930s and 1940s when it became known for its Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. However, during World War II, American forces bombed and burned much of Fontana including many homes; this destroyed most of the town's economy. Today, much of what once comprised Fontana is composed of office buildings and other unrelated properties located within Arden Unified School District boundaries. The name "Fontana" originated from two early settlers who named their farm after an old Mission San Gabriel property near where they now live: Augustus Hickey Fontanella and his brother John A. Fontanella (1852-1929). In 1903, local ranchers Amos Bechtel (1865-1942) and George Waddell platted what would become downtown Fontana on land they had bought from Juan Bautista Lorca y Pavon de Anza (1768-1848), a Mexican American explorer who had sailed through that area on his way to establish missions in Northern California. Development started with few residents; by 1907 there were only six or seven families living in downtown streetscape which consisted mostly of single family homes built before World War I around a marshy lot accessible via dirt roads running east/west along both sides of South Main Street – today’s North First Street. By 1920 there were over 100 residents living in downtown streetscape with about 30 businesses using Government Road for access to their lots plus several farmsteads scattered throughout southern Kern County used by farmers for storage or animal husbandry purposes including three sizeable ranches operated by Bechtel & Waddell until 1955 including holdings totaling more than 2 million acres comprising portions now parts Of Kern County including present day Mesquite Valley subdivisions The origins story goes something like this: When Augustus Hickey Fontanella moved into sections 3 & 4 total acreage now located withinArden Unified School District boundaries back in 1901 he noticed some excellent citrus fruit trees growing wild near where he lived but no one was harvesting it so he decided to go out scouting some days later found 1 large tree producing fruit that was picked right off the ground! From then on everyone wanted to grow oranges here so be it took root another name change happened when street corner store owner Oscar Cisneros renamed boulevard “Oranges Avenue” & all hell broke loose as people Sunrise Auto Repair building across from Today’s courthouse also got their start selling cars (oranges included) direct from growers rather than going through dealerships
Founded in 1871, Fontana was a small town located on the banks of the river Anza in what is now Orange County. The name originated from an Italian family that owned land near the village. In 1872, two years after Fontana’s incorporation as a city, it became one of California’s first counties when portions of San Bernardino and Riverside were split off from Los Angeles County. The large lead mine in neighboring Riverside began producing heavy ore in 1887 and by 1890, production had reached 5,000 tons per day. By 1911, when surface mining stopped because of high costs associated with new technology, lead prices had plummeted to $2 per pound and mining ceased altogether. Today, Fontana is a small community located on the banks of the River Anza between Irvine and Pasadena. It has experienced rapid growth since its incorporation as a city in 1872; today it has over 21 thousand residents within its limits and ranks second among cities in Orange County for population growth rate during that time period.
