The gun he bought was an 8-shot revolver that he called the "Fountainside Rifle." He continued to purchase guns and rifles from dealers throughout his life, until his death in 1978. At Harry's death, his Firearms & Ammo store still operated in Fountain Valley and remained open until recently. The first gun that Harry Fenton bought was an old Model 1855 rifle. He soon became interested in handguns and purchased several pistols over the years. One of these pistols was a Smith & Wesson Model 686 that he called the "FountainValley Pistol." It is interesting to note that this pistol is one of only two remaining examples of this type of handgun dating back to the early 20th century. The other example is currently held by the Sacramento County Museum in California. In 1933, Harry Fenton married Edna Jane Furness who later became known as Edna2 Guns (the name she used when selling her firearms). They resided for many years in an apartment on West Main Street near Fountain Valley College before moving into their current home on South Orange Avenue in 1957. This property also served as their shooting range during their time as owners/ operators of their business. Edna2 Guns passed away in 1984 but her husband continued to own and operate his firearms store until his death two years later. After Harry Fenton's death, family members maintained control over both business operations and inventory while managing daily activities out of their home through direct descendants - Tony Naylor Sr., Shirley Naylor Beattie III and Tony Naylor Jr.. In recent years, there have been changes taking place within the family which has resulted in some divestitures or liquidations within various businesses including those owned by Tony Naylor Sr., Shirley Naylor Beattie III andTony Naylor Jr.. However, even with these changes; all three generations continue to maintain ownership over FFAS Store which continues to be run by its original proprietors - Harry Fenton et al."

Fountain Valley is a small town in the Central Coast region of California. It is located about 20 miles south of San Francisco on Highway 101. The population was 9,711 at the 2010 census. The name Fountain Valley comes from two water sources: the Fountains at the foot of Mount Whitney and those near the old millstream called "Valley Forge." The first European to visit Fountain Valley was Jedediah Smith in 1821. He named it after himself, David Fountain, and his brother-in-law, Nathaniel Bowles. In 1828, John Crain built a log cabin here and started farming. By 1830, he had 12 acres (4 ha) of land registered with the United States Land Department. In 1835, George Hearst acquired 6 acres (2 ha) of this land from Crain and began trading goods with Native Americans. In 1849, John Sutter founded Sutter's Fort here on what is now Winchester Road. He used this location for storage as well as his military posts during California's Gold Rush days. In 1863–1864 during World War I, there was an air raid on nearby San Francisco that killed 26 people including nine children living in a home along Mission Street where today's Regency Ballroom stands. In 1929 Jameson Glass set up his glassworks here on what is now Market Street near Civic Center Park before moving them to Oakland in 1951 when production moved to Chino Hills outside Los Angeles County because of environmental concerns about lead and other toxins emitted by Jimson Glass plants east of LA County Line
