The grinders used hand Crushers to achieve a fine flavor profile that is unique to full-bodied roasts. The first coffee house in Fullerton was established by Captain John Sutter and his men during the Gold Rush of 1848. They enjoyed fresh, brewed coffee at their tent encampment near Mission San Gabriel before moving into their own building shortly thereafter. Fullerton became the largest city in Southern California after the 1850 census and soon began to offer its residents high-quality coffee services. In 1863, Captain George Aiken opened Aiken's Coffee House which served as one of the first commercial outlets for espresso (now known as drip) coffee drinking enthusiasts throughout California. In 1875, Reverend James Waddell started Trinity Coffee House which became one of Anaheim's earliest morning business destinations. Waddell was instrumental in developing Anaheim into a major center for Italian culture and commerce during the late 19th century. During World War II, Fullerton became an important wartime production center for war materials such as aviation gasoline and rubber products due to its close proximity to military bases around Southern California. The city experienced significant economic growth following World War II, with new development creating jobs in many sectors including transportation, engineering, health care, retail sales, foodservice and more; making it one of Los Angeles' most vibrant cities during this time period

Fullerton, California is a city in Orange County, California. The population was 145,433 at the 2010 census. It is the second-largest city in Orange County after Anaheim. The name "Fullerton" is a Spanish word meaning "fruitfulness." The first people to live on the site of what is now Fullerton were the Tongva Indians who called it Rancho San Gabriel del Cucamonga. In 1821, Mission San Gabriel Arcángel was built on land east of present-day Fullerton and started serving as a religious center for the Tongva community. In 1835, part of Rancho Santa Ana de Anza were given to José Antonio Nieto and his family for settlement by Mexican Americans. On January 30, 1850, Jose Nieto married María Isabel García from Sayulita Valley in full compliance with Mexican law which required that all white women must marry native men. In 1851 Juan Bautista Alvarado purchased two pieces of real estate northeast of downtown Fullerton from José Nieto for $2,500 (). Alvarado named his new rancho El Pueblo de Santiago y Nuestra Señora del Rosario (the Town of Our Lady of Sorrows and our Lady of Peace). There are several stories about how this came to be: one says Alvarado met an Indian woman while out hunting and fell in love with her; another story has him seeing a beautiful flower while driving across country and thinking he had found paradise; still others say he saw a sign that said "Pueblo de Santiago" on top of some hills near Antiochia Avenue. Alvarado's ranch lay within what is today Fullerton City limits when it was patented to him by Governor Manuel Micheletti on November 8, 1860 (). At times various portions or all or part of what is now Fullerton were included in different counties during its early history including Laguna Niguel until 1893 when it became part of Orange County. The area now encompassing most if not allof downtown Fullerton was platted as part of unincorporated Los Angeles County on April 12, 1889 by JACOB FOSTER & CO., LIMITED PARTNERSHIP . On February 5th 1915 PETER JONES opened the first store in what would become Downtown Fullerton when he leased from Wm Atherton & Son Incorporated - FULLMETRO STORE #1 An orange grove known as “The Grove” was established near Howland Avenue and Ventura Boulevard by Julius Kahn in 1922. By 1930 there were twenty grocery stores operating along Ventura Boulevard between Huntington Drive and I-5 south; eleven restaurants operated between Huntington Drive and Moorpark Boulevard; five banks located at Grand National Plaza Shopping Center off Sawgrass Road; six movie theaters located around town between Thousand Oaks Boulevard north/west corner Arroyo Road east/west corner North Main Street south) commercial development continued throughout World War II with many factories being erected such as Johnson Controls where ex- servicemen formed their own company afterwards also housing such companies as Warner Bros., THX Broadcasting Services etc..... Mayor John Lennon served three terms from 1965–1975 then Azalea Park Councilman Ed Chavez ran against him for mayoralty but lost ..........Fullerton currently borders Garden Grove to the northwest (and Irvine Spectrum Airport to the southeast)

By 1925, Fullerton had become one of the most populous cities in Southern California. In 1951, it became an incorporated city under the name of Fullerton Municipal Corporation. On November 15, 2015, Fullerton voters approved Measure M which will change the name of the city from "Fullerton Municipal Corporation" to "City of Anaheim".

Fuller and his wife Emma Cady Fuller as a small town located on the shores of Lake Fullerton. The name "Fullerton" comes from Indian Chief Manuel de la Costa's Jumanji Land title granted to him on October 31, 1878 for an area that extended from what is now east of Moorpark north to west of Anaheim Hills and included present-day Fullerton Village and unincorporated areas including Buena Park and Garden Grove. The first permanent settlers in what is now Fullerton were Irish immigrants who arrived between 1879 and 1880 following the emancipation of slaves in America. They named their new settlementFullerstown after one of their members, John Fenton Fuller. In 1881, they sold all their holdings to Captain Edward Ewing for $1,500USD when he became interested in developing the land into a town. Captain Ewing had traveled through Mexico during his lifetime and seen firsthand how slave labor could be used to build highways and railroads there so he decided to use slave labor instead for his new town site; this led to full-blown slavery in Northern California until 1865 when it was outlawed by Congress as part of the Civil War Amendments
