Fullerton, California is a city in Orange County, California, United States. The population was 116,541 at the 2010 census. It is located on the eastern edge of Orange County and is part of the Los Angeles metropolitan area. The city is named after businessmen George S. Fullerton and James W. Fuller, who founded two mills there in 1887. The first full-time white settler in Anaheim was José Rivera (1847–1925). Rivera's family arrived from Spain with his parents and three sisters in 1855 on a vessel called "Cuba". Grant Battalion of Infantry Regiment – today’s Pioneer Square.– after finding five ounces (118 grams) of gold over an eight-day period during their wintering at Pico House beach tender agency east of town on February 14th and 15th On October 10th 1860 US Marshall Edward Bates ordered all male citizens between the ages of 21 and 45 years old to leave Mission Viejo due to its high crime rate which had increased since Mexican occupation days when most people were ranch hands or soldiers looking for work opportunities outside their home country Some men decided not to go but took whatever property they could carry away before being turned back by Mexican military forces that night according to one account A group including Bates met at Bakersfield later that day where they agreed upon sending out detachments from each regiment with orders to round up any males found packing guns or intending to join the Mexicans This order came about because many Anglo Americans felt responsible for Mexico’s problems given that some Californios had collaborated militarily with Mexico following its capture of California during Mexican–American War

Fullerton is a city located in Orange County, California. The population was 283,878 at the 2010 census. It is the fifth-largest city in Orange County. The name of Fullerton comes from "fullero," meaning "a furrier." In 1881, fullers were among the first people to settle in what is now Fullerton and began trade with Mission San Juan Capistrano. By 1895, Fullerton had a post office and a railroad depot. On December 12th, 1905, part of the Santa Ana Mountains collapsed during an earthquake and created an artificial lake that surrounded downtown Fullerton for over thirty years. A new downtown was built on top of the old lake in 1963 and fullers continue to call it their "promised land." The City of Anaheim annexed Partierville east of Fullerton in 1959 which added over 100 square miles (240 km2) to Anaheim's territory. As a result of these annexation efforts,Fullerton lost some its traditional businesses and residents but gained access to more social services than its neighbor to the south. However, as economic development increased within Irvine County--the county seat--Fullerton began losing population again until it surpassed Irvine as Orange County's most populous city by 2000 Census estimates What made Fullerton so special during its early years? One reason may have been its location: just north of Los Angeles along Route 66 meant that goods traveled easily between cities; transportation became much more difficult after World War II when LASAs (longitude adjusted settler rates) were introduced which counted how many people lived near a certain location at any given time rather than counting what buildings or items stood there.
